When the seagulls cry, there are but two survivors. With the death of one, the other washes ashore on Niijima.
Returning from the brink of oblivion, the girl presumed missing but revived as a detective and witch for the many forgeries of the Rokkenjima Massacre comes to tell her story of what happened on that fateful day of the explosion. After 12 years, the girl with almost no love brings back the only ones she could 'love:' Her beloved Inquisitor of Heresy, and her two assistant priestesses.
The Ushiromiya who was not permitted to go to Rokkenjima on that certain October 4th is notified of her return, and continues her pursuit of truth by seeking out this girl. The two Witches of Truth are destined to meet.
