A cabin that was supposed to be filled with paranormal activity sounded like fun to both Maria and all her friends. But soon a flood happens and the group are stuck, no food at all and soon Maria is murdered and cooked for her friends for a good dinner. Now they are stuck in a cabin with no reception, limited resources and no one to trust. Will they find the killer in time or will they all be eaten?

Summary
A time skip and partial AU based on the Kurt ending of Dread Weight, this story will explore mostly Kurt as a character, but other characters will get their spotlights, and expand on the character dynamics with modern Germany (2024), or 51 years after the events of Dread Weight (1973), as the setting.
Kurt escapes the testing facility on a whim, and tries to get adjusted to modern society all the while dealing with a variety of issues as he tries to get back to Dimitri and Renata to at least make amends, or in best case scenario, resurrect them. He takes and odd job to get some money, then gets cut short of work the next day because of a facility guard, so Kurt goes to Rügen early. After coming across Gisela on the island they’ll have to watch out for the Baba Yaga in a resort that overtook the mansion grounds as Kurt finds a way to help Dimitri and Renata, and get his soul back.
