Summary
You don’t see every day a Supe rescuing Homelander and kissing him before flying away. After such an appearance, the public wants to know more. To ease this new lie, Billy accepts faking he’s a Supe. With an updated Supe suit –way sexier and tuned with his personality–, he’ll be officially presented to the public as Homelander’s boyfriend.
However, it won’t be that easy. After all, you can’t expect a good outcome from reuniting so many people (Billy, John, the Seven, Ashley Barrett, and the media) in the same room.
The only person who is happy with the trouble they got into is Stan Edgar, the only man on Earth who still wants to control Homelander. This is his last opportunity to make them break up and he’ll take the chance to make it happen.

No todos los días aparece un Súper y besa a Homelander en los labios después de rescatarlo, así que el público quiere saber más. Para salir de esa nueva mentira, Billy accede a hacerse pasar por un Súper, con un traje actualizado y más acorde a su personalidad, para ser presentado en sociedad como pareja de Homelander.
Pero claro, con tanta gente tonta en una misma sala (Billy, John, los Siete, Ashley Barrett y la prensa), era obvio que algo iba a salir mal.
Solo alguien se alegra del nuevo lío en el que se meten Billy y John: Stan Edgar, el único hombre en la tierra que sigue queriendo controlar a Homelander, o lo que es lo mismo: separarlo de Butcher.

“Oh shit, sorry,” Hughie blurts out, embarrassed. He can feel his cheeks burning as he scrambles to pick up everything. There’s no way he’s ever going to live this down. He won’t be able to hide any of it from either Annie or Robin, and every single time he sees this guy in the halls he’s going to remember how mortifying this is. “I didn’t mean to, I was just rushing because of the bell, and now I’m gonna be late and you’re probably gonna be late, too.”
The guy crouches down and helps him without a word. He’s not as jittery, which helps with picking it all up, and soon enough he’s placing what he grabbed on top of the pile Hughie put together.
Hughie tries to give him a smile. It feels more like a grimace. “Thanks, man. Sorry about um, running into you.”
“No worries,” the guy mutters, and is that a British accent?
There’s no way Hughie’s face isn’t bright fucking red.
