Summary
A quick view of the aftermath from the most iconic Agni Kai between Azula/Zuko/Katara. Their stories from some of their comics and beyond. Written mainly between Mai-Zuko-Katara-Aang.
Figuring out their new place in this new world, they continue to search for their true identities while weighing their own ideas of what they consider their responsibilities, duties and real destinies. Grappling with new roles and emotions as bonds and promises are made and broken, loyalties keep people painstakingly stuck in place while some new self discoveries drive people to knowingly risk ties being severed.

Summary
When an invitation arrives from the Northern Water Tribe for a two-week celebration to commemorate the fifth anniversary of Sozin's Comet, Katara and Zuko know exactly what to expect: family reunions, intensive politicking, and the unenviable task of dealing with Hahn, chief misogynist and new heir to the North.
Faking an engagement to the entire world, on the other hand, was most definitely not on the cards.
(Or: how to prevent a civil war, lie to everyone you know, and -- most importantly -- not let on to your pretend betrothed that you might not be pretending at all.)

Summary
"It was fun teaching, and it had been a long time since last time. She liked doing it at home, on Kyoshi Island, and she liked doing it there. Suki found it satisfying and fulfilling. Not to mention the expression of joy that took shape on the faces of her students, as soon as the awareness of having made a move correctly reached them. The respect with which they looked at her and the friendships she had made with them, and she had to admit they were really good.
[...]
She was aware that her role at the royal palace was just as important but, sometimes, she wondered if she was doing it again. As had happened during the war, on Kyoshi Island; before she met Aang and the others, she felt like she was locked up in a bubble. Standing still in the same place again, seemed wrong.
[...]
"Yes, you are." Sokka retorted, feigning offense. "You know what happens to traitors."
She saw him bending over her and couldn't help but laugh, now, when she saw a mischievous smile rise on his lips. And yes; she knew very well what was about to happen but, despite that, Suki didn't even move when his hands slipped under the sheets to reach her hips.
"Get ready to taste my fearsome tickle-bending!" -

When a proposed oil refinery by a brother and sister duo from the Northern Water Tribe makes things even worse, Sokka isn’t sure the tribe will be able to survive the conflict in one piece.
Then a Fire Nation diplomat goes missing. Then things start to get really weird.

Summary
"Aang looked over at Katara, who nodded. He cleared his throat. 'About that...'
"Zuko looked from one to the other, eyes narrowed in suspicion. 'What?'
"'Um. About what happened last time I visited... I told Katara.'
"Zuko blinked, then raised his eyebrow. 'Uh... which thing?'
"'The thing where I... kissed you.' Aang's face felt very hot. [...]
"'Well, I see she hasn’t killed you... or dumped you, I presume,' Zuko said cautiously.
"'No,' Katara confirmed.
"'So... we're all okay, then? Assuming it doesn’t happen again.'
"'I'm not assuming that, actually,' said Katara.
"Zuko coughed; he hadn't entirely swallowed a mouthful of wine. 'I'm sorry?' he rasped, before he resumed coughing."
