Bosie chuckles low and Wes gets a mouthful of the laugh. The tingle goes through all the bones of his face, a pleasant thrum like an instrument. The tingle’s flushed out with heat when Bosie pulls away and Wes is awfully, painfully aware of how handsome he is. Trousers worked around his thighs. Thin cotton shirt hanging loose. Cornsilk hair frizzing like wheat stalk-tops, starting to curl at the edges. His lips have gone full red now from the mouthing and something carnal’s made his eyes harshly black. Wes feels like they’ll swallow him whole, ticking over his own face.
