Summary
For the first time, the Hermits decide to open their world to the outside world.
The Hermits spent weeks preparing for the week-long event, tidying up their world and making it as safe as possible. Exhaustion is nipping on all of them, finding its release in -- bodily activities.
When the visit starts, everything goes smoothly, no problems in sight.
But then strange things start happening, people get injured and Etho's visions return worse than ever ...Disclaimer: Main story starts after chapter 3 if you want to skip some of the smut.

Summary
Strange things happening on the Hermitcraft Server lead Xisuma to suggest that the Hermits evacuate through a portal to a new server temporarily whilst he sorts things out. But what’s this? It seems the Hermits have unknowingly arrived in a new game of Life, Power Life.
In Power Life, you are randomly assigned a special ability, these abilities can range wildly in usefulness. But you are also given a set amount of lives that corresponds to the usefulness of the ability. Those with the most useful abilities will have just 2 lives. And those with the least useful abilities will have 6 lives. You are able to transfer these lives to others as a form of currency. You won’t know the specifics of your powers immediately but you will know how many lives you have and for some of you it will be obvious. Others may have to do some testing.
Furthermore, every day one of the non-Red players will be assigned as the boogeyman. Although there is a possibility that more than 1 will be chosen. This player must kill another non-Red by the end of the day or be put on their final life. With that out of the way, let’s get in to Power Life.

Through emotional turmoil, slow acceptances, clutches of the past, and loving embraces, he finds love. Love, that he has wished for, for his entire life.
They stick with him through thick and thin, but what happens if they find out what he is?
This is the story of Grian, the runaway watcher, but more importantly, The Hermit.

Having to go to the past to understand Grian a little bit more and understand why he was so withdrawn during Hermitcraft 6. And might become protective of him at the same time.

There are scars covering his arms, and judging by the feeling of his own face, it has scars on it, too. One scar stood out, though.
One shaped as if he was bitten by something, a creature or the like. Dark as the color of blood, yet also completely flat and uniform, much like a tattoo.

Scar wasn't sure why Grian seemed so distant today. He was more relaxed recently, for certain...starting to understand the safety that Scar and Mumbo represented. Scar and Mumbo exchanged a glance and Mumbo chuckled softly with a shrug. This was good, after all. Grian was getting more comfortable with them, at ease enough to ask such questions and then abruptly exit the conversation…though Scar suspected that had more to do with his terribly stunted social skills than anything else. Typically at the table, now that Grian had gotten used to being sat there, he ate quickly and then would ask permission to excuse himself. Then he’d go up into the loft to either nap in his rest or flip through one of the poetry books they bought to help him learn to read.
Scar suspected it had a lot to do with how he still wasn’t exactly comfortable at the table, even though he now understood he was expected to sit there. The elf wasn’t a huge fan of that train of thought…expectation instead of invitation…but it was all just small steps.
Small steps.

Doc fights tears because there's people, he fights tears because he's in public, he fights tears because this is an emergency and he needs to calm down.
Or, Ren gets in a brawl, part of his arm gets ripped off by a skulk-infected dog. He needs an amputation.
