Because of this they needed to choose who would represent the gods int he Void finality and thus, the Preliminary rounds were created by Zeus, Odin and Ra, as a way to choose who would be fighting in the Void Finality. But where you might expect the winners to be those who are fighting, it turns out not all of them were chosen. Percy blinked.
“There’s hot chocolate on the stove.” She continued, waving a nonchalant hand in the direction of a small kitchenette, “You may as well get settled. This usually takes a while.”
The girl – who Percy could now see had messy black hair and piercing emerald-green eyes – then sank into a large armchair and pulled out a book. Where the hell did she get a book? Where were they? What the hell was going on?
Percy blinked again.
“Are you dead?”
The girl paused.
“Hmm. I think so.” She said, “Though sometimes it’s hard to tell.”
“Am I dead?” Percy then asked, idly wondering if this was all just a very strange dream.
“Most likely. Though if you’re here instead of whichever afterlife you’d usually go to, then you’re probably not dead-dead. Just… mostly dead.”

"Perseus Jackson must not know who he was before the Chaos Army until the time is right."
For five years, Percy Jackson has lived the life as a solider and commander for the Chaos Army.
For five years, Percy Jackson remembered nothing of his past.
For five years, the demigods and Olympians searched for the hero of Olympus, but there was nothing.
The son of Poseidon was never hurt, never betrayed, but fate seems to always have something new in store for the hero.
But those five years were up. A new darkness approaches, and Percy and his new allies are now finding themselves back on Earth to protect their friends and family who they missed ever so dearly.
What Percy nor all the others weren't aware of... was that the son of Poseidon might have to play an even bigger role than they've all anticipated.
After all, in the line of the newest prophecy told by their Oracle, "Underneath the ocean sea, there shall be a debt / And one shall perish by the fools of death", the stakes of the mission has been raised. The universe was at a tilt.
