Summary
Something about Kino’s perpetual avoidance—his steadfast singlemindedness in orientation to the tick-tick shiftwise dwindling of the figure on his cell counter, ignoring their unfair, oppressive reality in favor of maintaining that slight edge of authority on the shift floor—it all ran down the back of Cassian’s arms like an itch. Like the steam of their baths, condensing in larger and larger drops until gravity slugged them down his skin.
Cassian sat at the edge of his cell, diagonal from Kino's, and thought, Look at me.

Summary
It is Keef Girgo who asks, and insists, and smirks, and demands, and wears him down. It is Keef who turns to look at him from the edge of freedom and asks him what's the matter. It is Keef Girgo who steps back towards him with wide eyes and grabs a hold of Kino’s forearm, And it is Keef who drags him to shore and onto the dry sand when Kino turns into dead weight in his arms.
It is Cassian Andor who breathes life back into Kino Loy.

Summary
It was true that Kino rarely dreamt of the outside anymore. But once, a handful of years ago, he had dreamt of the touch of sun on his skin. Of light scattered and softened by branches overhead. Of air that tasted of upturned soil instead of chlorine and filtration systems.
The dream had been so vivid that when he woke the sensation had lingered for a few moments - two, three, before he lost hold of it - and he had nearly wept.
Girgo was like that. A small hitch in the monotony - an opening that stood in for a larger absence. Both welcome and irritating, like the days when they gave you your food with flavor but no texture.
Not the possibility of a different life - not the promise of it. Only the reminder. Only the ache.

A retelling of the Narkina arc from Kino's perspective, focusing on radicalization, hope, queer desire, and the places where they overlap.

Summary
“Are you alright?” Cassian asks.
Kino just stares back at him. And it really is him, isn’t it? He’s wearing a little knit cap that covers his hair and a heavy cargo jacket that swallows his posture and Cassian feels himself cracking a smile. Because it’s a stupid question, because he’s been shot and they’re standing over the body of a bounty hunter in a back alley of a rim world. But it’s Kino. It’s Kino.

Summary
Booking joint swim lessons for yourself and your five year old daughter sounds like a great idea until you're waist-high in chlorine, trapped in a pack of other single parents, with an obnoxiously cheerful instructor dropping cliches on you like they're going out of style. All of which is bad enough without an unfairly hot guy doing casual laps across the pool — an unfairly hot guy who won't stop grinning at you.

Summary
“You should let me go,” Kino says. He speaks in short gasping bursts. “Stop being an idiot and catch up with Melshi. You’ll have a better chance of making it out.”
Keef only tightens his grip. “Save your energy and kick,” he instructs.

Summary
Andor, season one, in between episodes, the missing scenes - episode ten
What happened to Kino Loy, did he jump into the soaring waters below?
Did he perhaps get re-captured while being most likely the only one left behind while his fellow inmates escaped? The no good deed goes unpunished kind of a thing happening to here?
This is the missing scene around the end of episode ten (at least how it played out in my mind).
Set in the world of Star Wars Andor space time continuum. Somehow canon compliant, perhaps? Until it is not?
