She's not a shifter. And when your father is one of the most powerful shifters in the world, it gets brought up a lot.
She's named as Gary's 'handler', teaching him the ways of the company, all the while wanting to choke the living daylights out of him. However, after an accidental death leads them down a rabbit hole, the two of them are forced to work together and figure out what her father has been planning for the world, humans, shifters, or otherwise.
