In the original text of ‘Atop This Peak’, the character Caelus; after leaving his Sect for 3 years to travel, had died after fighting off a low class demonic beast.
…And one can only imagine how much it astonished Caelus; the person who shared the same name, to the point that he’d almost spat out a mouthful of blood.
A low class demonic beast? Caelus? The character who had reached Early-Stage Core Formation?
This was so obviously the result of lazy writing…
With such grief in his heart for the character, Caelus couldn’t bother to read the rest of the book and set it down carelessly on his desk.
Forget it, if the only thing he could do now is lament, than he’d rather go to bed and not think of the novel anymore.
He’d only wish that he could have rewritten the text, and given his character a proper ending instead whatever this author gave.
…Was his last famous thoughts before he had been been transported into the world of the novel.

Surprise flits about Argenti’s features, seeming to bounce between a few different emotions before finally setting on bashful.
“Such a compliment is unusual,” he says, after a moment, “especially from an honest soul such as yourself. I am honored to be held in such regard from someone I treasure dearly, and someone with as much passion for life as you.”
“I jus’ said you looked nice,” Boothill says lowly, picking at the threads of his pants.
“Did you mean it?”
“Why, ‘course.”
“Precisely,” Argenti says, as if that explains it all.
After the cults have been disbanded and the leads have been followed, Boothill finds himself stuck in Penacony against his will due to a blunder in the system. To make it worse, he has to survive the week in the company of Argenti—a Knight of Beauty who seems a bit too keen on making his acquaintance.

It’s not that Caelus is avoiding going back, and it’s not that he’s avoiding Dan Heng. He just, doesn’t know what to say, so he’s not saying anything at all. That’s not technically avoiding Dan Heng, so he’s not doing what March is accusing him of. But he’s man enough to know that he’s not all that innocent either. He’s not full-on avoiding Dan Heng, but he is avoiding Dan Heng to some extent.
But to be fair, what is he even supposed to say?

...an action followed by a glare shot towards the only suspect he had in mind: the filthy racoon in front of him giggling sheepishly.
"Focus, Caelus."
The abashed chuckle of the ashen-haired man eventually turns into a grunt, and Caelus can't help but be a bit disappointed at his failed attempt at saving (distracting) Dan Heng from working his fingers to the bone just for some flimsy stack of A4 paper.
But that was just his first attempt — just the beginning.

Caelus rolls his eyes, knowing the man can't see it.
“They don't care for the golden cutlery, the crystals on the chandelier. Heck, you could steal the satin sheets off their beds and they won't notice. That stuff is expensive but replaceable to them.” Caelus explains.
The man stumbles before standing still, not letting himself be pulled by Caelus anymore.
When Caelus turns to look at the man the man is grinning at him. Beaming even.
“Oh, my friend! You are a fellow thief helping the great Sampo? How generous!” The man, Sampo if that is the man's real name, exclaims.
Caelus feels like his earlier judgement of the man before him being an idiot is far too accurate.
“Well, would you lead the way for this very poor entrepreneur?” Sampo asks.
Or; found family time-travel fantasy! (Or better described as a revenge time-travel found family manhwa in fanfiction form just for funsies.)

After accidentally getting Caelus pregnant, Dan Heng became more possessive, clingier, and..... obedient? Ever since Caelus proposed a reward system for him, Dan Heng would always listen to whatever Caelus has to say, or whatever Caelus wants him to do. From fetching a food that Arlan made from the Space Station, to warping back to the Luofu just to get some Earl Gray Milktea that Caelus was craving for, he doesn't mind since it's all for Caelus. Plus, he gets rewarded for everything he does for his boyfriend, and their babies. More often than not, it was in the form of drinking milk directly from its source, sometimes Caelus would milk him too while drinking Caelus' milk and it had him going from day to day.
Oh, and did he mention he doesn't growl at others that often anymore?
He always gets a bonus when he doesn't growl at anyone who comes close to Caelus so he tries his very best to hold back his instincts.
