Edit: This started as something written with phaethon_path as a lowkey way to vent about my life. Now it's become something more, and I draw experiences from my own life to create the story as phaethon_path no longer works with me. There's a lot of plot holes due to this transition and I hope you all understand that there will be inconsistency and random changes.

With inner wounds fresh from the betrayals of their lovers, Phos and Diamond, the fight couldn't be more personal. Bortz is ordered to hunt down the traitorous Phosphophyllite. Cinnabar is sent with them, as they are a gifted mage. This short story focuses on a few moments between them.

Summary
When one thinks of dancing, they think of hip-hop or tap, the ones that have kept up with modern times. Ballet usually gets shoved off to the side, which is unfortunate- Ballet is more than looking pretty and being fancy. It's an artstyle, like all dance styles are. It requires technique that's honed through years of training, pain that breaks individuals to the point it could devastate a dancer over whether or not they can continue dancing, and it requires passion, love, ambitions- it's a dance. A dance is a story. An individual story.
All dances have a foundation, it's beginning... once upon a time... those are a dancer's legs. Without them, the story never takes off beyond those beginning lines. So what if that foundation is taken away? Phos knows that struggle all too well..
