Summary
The war is over. Everyone has found their place in the Universe. Hunk and Pidge are working on cool projects to help the Blades and Garrison explore and help various races throughout the galaxies, Allura and Coran are building New Altea, and Keith is working with the Blades to restore balance to planets still infested with Galra rebels. But one year after they've ended the fight against the tyranical empire, Lance goes missing. With a gut instinct guiding him, Keith heads into the desert to his forgotten shack—an old hideout where Lance once joked he could escape everything. Together they brave the realities of their new lives and help each other realize they are not their traumas.
Aka a little fix it fic with all the gays and plenty of hurt and comfort because this shit got heavy for a kids show.

He was going to keep it that way and did what he felt he needed to do. Knowing she was intelligent and their property wasn't that far away, nor were they terribly far off the ground, Lance managed to position himself to drop her safely to the ground, just outside the tractor beam's range.

It was weird for false contractions to happen so often. In fact, they WEREN'T supposed to be frequent; only something that happened once and then didn't happen again for some time. Lance was starting to think there was something wrong and began to panic. However, as he realized they had been happening since last night, less time between them and hurting more each time one happened, he was rooted to his seat with a different kind of fear.
“...these aren't Braxton Hicks...” he whispered to no one in particular.

“When are you going to be back? Kosmo’s going to start chewing your shoes up and I’m not going to stop her.” Kosmo isn’t one for chewing shoes but she does keep staring at Matt’s side of the bed and then pawing at the covers before huffing when she lays down.
“Probably the day after tomorrow. Olia’s got to go over some of the earlier missions.” Keith hears the announcements of the Olkari shopping mall and wonders how many video games Matt’s going to come back with this time. “I think I’m still, like, legally dead on some planets which isn’t ideal but is pretty cool. I’m like a zombie, or a vampire.”
“On that topic, Allura and Romelle recommended a horror film the other day and they keep bothering me about watching it.”
“As long as you promise to hold my hand at the scary bits, babes.”
“Don’t I always?” Keith walks into the changing room and sees Antok ready to go. “I’ve got to go, I’m about to get my ass kicked in the training room.”
“Okay, love you.” Matt makes loud, wet smooching noises through the phone. “Don’t forget to send me pictures if you get all hot and sweaty.”

"This sucks," Lance complained, his hands on either side of his tummy, his left rubbing slightly. "Whose bright idea was this?" He used his right hand to gesture at his stomach, as if to make a point.
"Uh, that was you, dude." Hunk chuckled with a raised eyebrow. He brought his hand to lay on top of Lance's, playing with his husband's golden ring. "I was just an enabler." He leaned up to kiss the corner of his mouth.
"Yes, you are terrible people and you should feel ashamed," Lance replied, his smile bright as Hunk's lips met his face.

Hunk would watch Henry hold his hand out to his canine cousin. Rafno smiled a little and brought his paw up to let Henry grab it. Ecstatic at getting a positive reaction, Henry tugged a bit too hard, Rafno having to jog to catch himself so he didn't fall.
The house had been filled with idle chatter, trying not to draw attention to the newcomer so he would feel more comfortable as he got settled with his extended family. That all changed as a metal clomp echoed in the house, all conversations dying on the spot. Lance's eyes went wide.
“...Shiro...” Curtis said softly with a sharp intake of breath.
“...I see it, love...” Shiro grimaced...Keith had said the boy had been hurt but...this is something else entirely...

“OH MY GOD, REALLY?!” he screeched with excitement. The next to react was Curtis. He was an older brother, so was no stranger to sonogram photos. Curtis gasped softly and got up to look at the screen better, hugging his husband as he did so.
“What...IS that?” Keith asked awkwardly, confusion settled on his features as his Galran ears drew back.
“That, my dude, is a baby,” Pidge answered proudly.

It was greyscale and pretty blurry. Hunk wasn't actually sure what he was looking at. He noticed some text on the side and, realizing he was looking at it wrong, rotated it so he could read. It was a timestamp...this was around the time Lance was at the doctor today...Confusion settled on his face as he stopped focusing on the numbers and letters, bringing his attention back to the actual image. Now that he was looking at it properly, it was easier to actually make out. His eyebrows shot up and his eyes went wide in disbelief, head turning so quickly he could have given himself whiplash.
"...Lance?" His husband was smiling softly at him, his eyes watering as he started to cry silently. "This looks like a-"

He came back for Lance. Finding his little stretch of land and seeing him out in the field, Keith called out to him. Lance shot up, looked around to locate him, and took off like a rocket. The impact was enough to knock out Keith's breath, but the searing kiss to follow turned him into a puddle. Even after all that time apart had passed and altering the course of their lives for themselves, their feelings for each other had never changed. Once they broke apart for air, Keith finally got a good look at his lover and thought his heart would beat out of his chest.

Three years after the fall of the Galra Empire, Lance McClain—up-and-coming solo artist and former Paladin of Voltron—accidentally posts a breakup song on Valentine's day. Instead of removing it, Lance starts posting more covers of love songs, all ostensibly for "You", the mysterious character who had broken Lance's heart.
What the galaxy doesn't know is that "You" is just as in love with Lance as Lance is with him.
Or, Lance sings breakup songs and posts them online to cope with the heartbreak of Keith leaving him again for the Blade. Keith is guilty, and also very much in love.
