Summary
When Hawke was eighteen, he lost everything in a fire. Almost everything, anyway.
When Anders was twelve, his mother died and his life was irrevocably altered.
When their paths cross in their thirties and they share a bond few others truly understand, they can both start down the road to healing and salvation.

Summary
With the Viscount dead, Kirkwall is leaderless and damaged, even as it fights to keep living. Anders is fighting to keep mages living even with constant fear hanging over their heads.
It’s really not the time to be strung along by Hawke who he’s loved for years, nor is it the time to be finding comfort in an elf who couldn’t give two shits about his plight.
Anders has always had bad timing, poor judgement and a weak heart.

Summary
Anders is terrified of losing his child.
___
"Anders starts crying. He half-expects a templar to appear out of nowhere to snatch the child away like they would do in the Circle to so many mages Anders knew. He remembers the mothers screaming, begging for their child, to even just be allowed to hold them once before the ability was taken from them forever.
It had happened so often in Kinloch Hold, where accidental pregnancies were frighteningly common. Anders had performed many abortions and he’d delivered many children, all of whom were taken away. He remembers promising himself that he wouldn’t let that happen to him, that he’d never let himself carry a child long enough that it could be stolen from him.
But here he is, cradling a child that he birthed and no one is coming to take her away. No one is snatching the baby from his arms or holding him down as he pleads and screams. "

Summary
Nathaniel's life isn't a particularly exciting one, and he's alright with that. He's got enough to do working on a master's degree in classical piano, but a chance encounter with a colleague leads to an opportunity to pick up the bass he hasn't touched in years and try something new for once.
He's certainly not going to get involved with the unfairly pretty blonde guitarist who won't stop coming onto him, though. That would be absurd.
The deranged Awakening band AU no one ever asked for.

Summary
Sebastian has captured Hawke after taking the Starkhaven throne, hoping to lure out Anders to bring them both to trial for their crimes. Being held captive on a ship heading towards Starkhaven isn't exactly a vacation for Hawke, but it gives both Sebastian and him time to reflect on their past friendship before it all came crashing down.
A fic exploring a religious pro-mage Anders romance mage Hawke and his tentative relationship with Sebastian, along with a hearty helping of headcanons and flashbacks.
--
Even with his friends urging him to execute Anders—including Anders himself, telling him it was just—he couldn’t find the strength to do it; to even think it. Not if it meant living without Anders. He had lost too many people he loved too soon. Hawke wasn’t losing Anders until his Calling came for him, until the Maker himself decided the Warden’s time was over.
So, despite the words of Aveline and Fenris; despite Sebastian’s cries for vengeance; despite the smouldering heat all around him, he hadn’t dared kill Anders, hadn’t dared imagine a world where his lover died by his own hands.
And now Sebastian’s threat of ‘true justice’ had come back to bite him in the ass, years later.

Summary
Adrian Hawke ran with Anders. As Ferelden dissolves into open warfare, he knows they can't remain in their sanctuary, no matter how much he wishes for it. Justice can’t abide it, nor can Anders. And he'll follow Anders past the edge of the world.
If Anders' actions in Kirkwall weren't enough to remove the possibility of compromise, the Conclave’s destruction annihilated any remaining chance that Thedas might revert to its prior normalcy. Justice still has demands, however; and the dissolution of the Circles will not be enough. Mercy without justice is hollow. Justice without mercy is cruel. And begets only more injustice.
Rhys Trevelyan spent most of his life unwilling to entertain the idea of a fate other than confinement in a Circle – easier to anesthetize his despondence and not make a fuss. Suddenly saddled with the responsibility of closing the Breach and backed by the belief of hundreds of thousands, Rhys has more power than he ever imagined – or wanted. Enough to change the world. But unless he can find the will to master that power himself, there are plenty of people who will master it on his behalf.

Summary
Fenris’ eyebrows fly up as half a dozen different emotions flood him at once. “You’re home,” he greets, his voice surprisingly flat considering all the things rushing through his head in that moment.
“Yes,” Anders replies, his voice shaking like he’s either been crying or is about to. “Sorry. I… we… we’re sorry.”
“For what?” Fenris asks pointedly. It’s a loaded question and he immediately hates himself for asking it, but it’s too late to take it back because Anders wastes no time answering.
“That fight… leaving… we shouldn’t have… I should just go. You probably don’t want me here after what we did. We… sorry,” Anders turns to go, but Fenris catches catches his sleeve (which is wet, eugh).

Summary
“Have you given any further thought to the idea of writing a manifesto of your own?” Justice asks. He knows this is likely his last opportunity to convince the elf, but Fenris doesn’t know that. Fenris thinks this is just like any other night, and Justice is powerless to warn him because, while he is fond of the elf, he knows he can’t trust him. Not with this.
“Be patient,” Fenris says with a chuckle. “Right now the only things I know how to write are the alphabet and my own name. But someday, I hope to write a manifesto of my own. Perhaps I’ll have to enlist your help.”

Summary
>>I apologize.<< Justice’s voice murmurs at the back of their shared mind as Anders pours water over his hands and elbow and sets to work on the splinters. >>My behavior last night was both unproductive and unkind.<<
“You think?” Anders snipes back out loud.
>>I am… overwhelmed.<< The spirit admits.
Anders sighs, his anger quickly dissipating, “Yeah, me too.”
