    Set in the same universe as Mercy Upon Ourselves by hedgehodgy. Jason Grace has been presumed dead for years. However it turns out that reasons unknown Beryll Grace faked his death and has been hiding him away. One day purely by chance he was found and was returned to Zeus. His mother was detained and is currently forbidden from talking to him. Jason is unfortunately not settling into new home as well as everyone around him wishes he was.

And so the three brother made a pact, swearing on the river Styx to never sire anymore demigod children, for fear of the total destruction they would cause.

    Let it be known that the river Styx does not like oathbreakers.

    The thing about swearing oaths on the River Styx is that it is a soul binding agreement. That means no one can get out of it. For if a person were to break the oath, the Styx would lay claim to their soul.

    The thing about gods is that they don’t have souls. There is nothing for the river to claim. So, it turns to the next best thing.

Nine days later, after Iris tricked the Childbirth Goddess Eileithyia (also Hera's daughter) into coming onto the island, Apollo was born, blessing the previously barren island into a lush and fertile place.
