I feel like not enough people appreciate how Mordecai was able to move past Margaret and CJ, so this is a fic to talk about after Mordecai and Rigby quit their jobs, and Mordecai goes off alone as a 29 year old, and how he and Stef meet and etc. Also, everyone is actually a human in this fic, but some people (like Stef) have features of a bat so she’s like half bat and half human. Mordecai is mainly human though.

The park has a new hire, she comes from a part time working background while also balancing a career in writing, something about her no one knows though. She is an immortal, like Skips she has an immortal soul, about 8,000 years old she was, Benson hired her as well to whip the slackers into shape.
Regular Show always balanced the scales between small-scale and epic storytelling. The show’s premise was as simple as you can get: two friends in their early 20s hanging out, making up goofy raps, and trying to avoid work. But it also had a taste for using its animated format in the service of surreal, apocalyptic plotting—demons, egg knights, and a bunch of baby ducks that transform into a giant, ass-kicking hero.

"El Descanso de la Monotonía" nos muestra una vida alternativa de los personajes MUCHO DESPUÉS de todo lo sucedido en el Cartoon. Obviando la muerte de Papaleta (lo que me cogió totalmente fría) los muchachos se han convertido en adolescentes adultos con ciertas dificultades que acarrearon desde su pasado. ¿Algunos maduraron o simplemente se quedaron estancados? No olvidemos que Mordecai maduró incluso al final de la serie y fue Rigby quien sí lo logró con el paso de los episodios (totalmente irónico). Espero que les guste esta historia, NO ESTA PERMITIDO EL PLAGIO NI NINGUNA OTRA ADAPTACIÓN.
