Bartimaeus' tattoo parlor was a well loved shop, right next to a popular cafe owned by their best friend. Bartimaeus almost couldn't be happier, and they were fairly certain Kitty didn't hate it as much as she claimed. It was near perfect.
... if only the owner of the new flower shop and a sore loser of a competitor would stop being so annoying. If Nathaniel and Faquarl could just give him a break, life would be much more peaceful.
