It would take him decades, but in return for his hard work, the decades that followed would be filled with letters and postcards and messages he sent him, scrawled in huge loopy handwriting dotted with hearts over the “i”’s. One day, Gum Gum would write stories of his own, and Bart would be there to read every single one.

A hurt/comfort kid fic where the intern crew runs away from to different law enforcement agencies (Infinights and the Everguards) because they are run away children. Mudd does a terrible job hiding he’s a prince, Bart and Kyborg do a worse job figuring it out.
