Summary
After finishing college in a small college town and getting their degree, Morgan moves back to Capital City to start their exciting new career as a detective. He moves into a tiny little apartment in the center of the city next to a superhero base because rent is cheap, and he's currently broke. They are excited to arrive at the precinct and receive their first case. However, things take a turn when his first case is over a criminal mastermind who has killed all the previous detectives who have worked their case.
Alex is a criminal mastermind who likes to toy with the detectives working their case before capturing and killing (and occasionally eating) them. When Morgan is assigned to her case, he thinks that Morgan will be just like the rest of the detectives that have worked their case. When her first meeting with the new detective, Alex finds himself falling in love. They try desperately to deny these feelings, but it's no use. She becomes determined to get Morgan to fall in love with him or turn them evil. Whichever comes first.

Come on! After all Ohio's been to to establish himself he has always seemed to fall short. A professor instead of a doctor, an anti-hero instead of a hero (despite him clearly doing work on the side of good thank you very much), powerless and forever bound to F tier... having a D tier nemesis was validating. He would oppose someone ranked higher than him, he would put up a good fight and even come up victorious a decent amount of the time, and he, he had fun! He enjoyed himself while fighting up against the Generator- up against Morgan. This was the first time an opponent would return to face Ohio again, and again, and again, and Ohio liked it. To someone he wasn't some guppy fish you see in a tank of whale sharks, he was a genuine nemesis. Only, he was still just one of many.
