Summary
When the Nautiloid swoops down on Baldur's Gate, snatching people up, Astarion isn't the only vampire it kidnaps- Cazador gets got as well, and this is the worst case scenario. No one is happy about any of this except for the strange bard the two vampires have found themselves in the company of. That guy seems to be having a pretty good time.

Summary
“I could hurt you,” Tav huffed, still avoiding his own reflection and the colors he'd find there, too familiar, and Astarion rolled his eyes.
“So could Gale. So could the dog,” he said dryly.
In which the Durge never got the ‘canon’ Astarion-refuses-to-break-up scene, because he was never quite selfless enough to suggest it. Here’s the conversation they had instead. (Stand-alone)

“It is not,” Lae’zel interrupted. “They have not copulated since we entered the shadow-cursed lands a tendday ago."
“Uh, okay,” Karlach said, frowning a little, as Wyll sputtered into his ale.
In which everyone is nosy and Tav is-- intentionally or not-- always the evening entertainment at camp. A missing conversation in late Act 2. (Stand-alone)

Summary
“You lied to me,” Astarion snarled.
“I needed you safe!” Tav snapped back, and immediately knew it was a mistake.
Tav doesn't make it to the ladder in time when the party escapes the Iron Throne, and he's left behind to drown. Astarion handles this as well as could be expected-- which is to say, terribly. In which dying actually has consequences, and caring about someone means their reckless disregard for their own well-being isn't that funny anymore.

Summary
She certainly must be hearing things, Shadowheart decided, when the bard stomped past and kicked one of the downed skeletons with a grumble that sounded a lot like, “not even any good for eating, no meat at all.”
The day had been long, and the stress was getting to her, was all.
The Durge wakes up on the beach more urge than person. Bafflingly, no one notices. Or, the feral!Tav fic two people asked for.

Summary
“They’re not normal sewer rats,” Tav protested stubbornly. “They’re creepy. A bad omen. An ill portent,” he insisted. Gale gallantly resisted the urge to roll his eyes.
On Tav's hatred of rats. A conversation in the sewers, in which Gale is at his wit's end, Shadowheart is judgemental, Wyll is confused, and Astarion is no help at all. So, just like normal. (Stand-alone)

Summary
Tavran Gregory woke up on the nautiloid with scars he doesn't remember, an urge to kill boiling in his veins, his fingers twitching to destroy, and the ability to hear magic. And a helluva headache. Or, a collection of stand-alone works featuring bard!Durge, tomfoolery, party dynamics, and flangst (fluffy angst).
These works are missing scenes that fit into the canon of the game without re-telling it. Includes works from two other series sorted by theme ("Missing Conversations" for mostly-humorous 'missing scene' party banter in the form of one-shots; "Requiems and Recitatives" for Angst and Hurt/Comfort longer fic, typically with an ensemble cast with a focus on Astarion/Durge).

It wasn't uncommon to find Astarion and Wyll in the middle of a disagreement.
It wasn't uncommon to find Astarion and Wyll in the middle of sex.
...it was however a new occurrence to find Wyll and Astarion arguing in the middle of sex.

Summary
“Scratch’s very warm. An’ soft,” Tav informed the wizard, fear apparently forgotten for the moment. Gale smiled down at him, and Karlach could feel herself doing the same.
“He is, isn’t he?”
“I like it that he’s still breathing,” the boy informed them, making Karlach’s engine stutter in her chest.
“Er. Yes, me too,” Gale managed stiffly.
Bard!Durge touched something he shouldn't have in Ramazith's tower, and now the Tadfools have a six-year-old on their hands. One child-sized Bhaalspawn versus a party of experienced adventurers? Surely nothing can go wrong! Nobody in their group has childhood trauma or anything! Everything's fine!
(Stand-alone, AU, Late Act 3)

Summary
"You— you just let him gouge out your eye!” Karlach sputtered, flexing her hands with the desire to shake him. She didn’t want to add burns to the brain damage, though.
In which bard!Durge makes a lot of baffling decisions with his personal safety on the road to Baldur's Gate and somehow, that's everyone else's problem. Or, five times Tav does something completely unhinged, and one time he-- surprisingly-- doesn't. (Stand-alone fic, spanning all acts)

Summary
“You don’t need to worry about carving up Cazador,” Tav said. “I mean, I’d love to dig a knife into him myself, for plenty of reasons. But why risk copying it wrong? Seems like a waste,” he added with a humorless smirk, and a sense of dread premonition welled thick in Astarion's throat.
"...Waste of what?" Astarion bit out reluctantly.
Bard!durge was captured during the spawn raid on the party's camp and spent twelve hours as an unwilling guest of a vampire lord. Astarion needs a vampire with the infernal scars carved onto his back to take his place in Cazador's ritual. Unfortunately, Astarion discovers those two facts are related.
Or, what if that persuasion check at the ritual site went a little differently?

Summary
To each their own, of course! But Gale still looked away as Tav gave Abdirak a charming smile and a playful look through his lashes.
Tavran Gregory, Durge, is a bard, but his past has nothing to do with his bard-typical behavior. All bards are just Like That, right? Or, the whole party slowly realizes that Durge's flirty demeanor is a mask for something more sinister... except for Astarion, who trips into love via a series of failed insight checks. A story told over three acts. (Stand-alone fic.)

Summary
A collection of stand-alone conversations styled like in-game cutscenes. These banter-focused, fluffy one-shots feature a bard!Durge named Tavran Gregory who ends up going the good route mostly by accident. Romanced Astarion. Scenes ordered chronologically and can be read on their own as conversations/missing scenes that could be slotted directly into the game canon. No smut, just two idiots in love and tadfool-family-feels.

Summary
He’d been talking to Steelclaw just fine— then had gotten that sense of deja vu, the sense that he’d been here before, and frankly, walking right into enemy territory just because some rude old half-elf squinted suspiciously at him until he agreed to scout the place out seemed like a good time to scrape whatever advantage he could out of his shattered memories.
Instead, he was scraping cat off his boots.
The visit to Moonrise Towers is full of revelations. None of them are pleasant, but Tav hadn't expected (nor felt he deserved) comfort from his prickly vampire-friend. He got it anyway. Or, two killers learn to be kind to each other. (Missing Scene from act 2, stand-alone).

Summary
“I’m not going to fuck you on the floor like an animal, Dirge, especially not when you’re like this. So here are your options. You can keep showing me you’re some feral beast, and I’ll fetch my cane to shove up your ass. Or you can move to the desk and bend over, and I’ll fuck you properly. Or we can end this meeting now.”
Takes place before the events of the game, relatively early in the relationship between the Dark Urge & Enver Gortash.
This story is about my own Resist Dark Urge character, but few identifiable details about him are in the fic. At this point in the story he goes by Dirge, because he's a bard and the chosen of Bhaal, of course he does.

Summary
He lost a lot of things, under Cazador.
But maybe he can get one back.
(the pale elf, and the elven habit of singing; of regaining what was forgotten. Of bards and vampires, of Urges and teaching.)
