Summary
King Enji Todoroki looked out over the ruins of Yuuei. Toshinori Yagi may have put down a thousand soldiers to protect his castle, but now he laid cooling in the dirt like any other dog. Prisoners from the castle would serve as examples, beheaded in the center of Symbol to prove the subjugation of the territory. There was no one left to fight back. All the omega, all the children, had either died to the smoke and flames or were awaiting their eventual executions.
He smiled, a grotesque thing. Finally! Finally it all was his!
(His bane walked through the smoke, trying not to stumble and fall with the bundle in his arms. His bane escaped the castle.)

Prince Bakugou is in need of some help. He hates asking for help, but he can’t be King without a Queen, the rules said and his coronation was nearing. The thing is, Bakugou doesn’t want to be married to a woman, but he has no other choice. To get his way and change things as King, he enlists Midoriya’s help, who he knows won’t judge him and will do his best to help him. It’s his best and worst option. Best, because he knows his childhood friend will help him no matter what. Worst, because if Midoriya decides to help the Prince, they'll have to participate in a bunch of royal crap that Prince Bakugou hates doing. They’ll both have to suffer through it, though, if he wants the throne from his mother.

At this point, he'll never make the money he needs, so it's best to ignore the memory.
That is, until he's offered a large sum of money to take down a nearby dragon. The deal is shifty as hell, the man who offers the deal even more so, but he takes it anyway.

Izuku stills remembers Katsuki's red eyes. He tries to say the name, but his mouth is covered.

A group of five men braves a snowstorm as they ride through a dark forest, led by their commander, Bakugou. Cloaked in dark armor, Bakugou halts the group when a strange warmth melts the snow beneath their horses. The men discover a blue dragon, Tenya, guarded by its rider, Midoriya— with a strong bond to the beast. Tensions rise as the men, armed with dragon-hunting tools, provoke the dragon. A rash charge from one of Bakugou's man swiftly gets him killed for disobedience. Midoriya, horrified by the senseless killing, argues with Bakugou, but the encounter ends with the group retreating. Days later, Bakugou returns to the Ironvale kingdom, where his cold demeanor briefly softens upon seeing a wounded young girl. In an uncharacteristic act of kindness, he ensures she receives care at the castle. However, his cold reputation remains intact as he prepares for his next mission. In the castle, Bakugou is confronted by Midoriya, who still bears resentment over the forest events. Their heated interaction is interrupted by King Todoroki, who orders the two men to work together on a perilous mission to retrieve an ancient artifact.
