Conrad (Great Prince of the Forest) enrolls his two sons, Bambi and Ronno (he is adopted), into Cherryton Academy and asks for them to be on the lookout for their missing older brother.
Years ago, Conrad separated from his wife, Felicia (Bambi's mother), and their firstborn, and they were sold on the Black Market. Conrad says goodbye to his rescued and dying wife with no sign of his son.
Conrad raises Bambi alone to the best of his abilities and soon adopts Ronno as an older sibling. Conrad then falls in love with a devilishly handsome wolf named Miyagi (Legoshi's father), and they become actors together.

What if Aqua didn't fall into the dark world after the events of Birth By Sleep but was still separated from Terra? What if she then found herself in the world of Bambi, otherwise known as the Great Forest?
This is a retelling of Bambi in which Aqua from Kingdom Hearts shows up a little after the beginning of the original story. She meets with Bambi and friends and they become close friends. She teaches them how to fight, protects them from threats, and teaches them things about the world she came from.
There are one-sided crushes in this fic between Thumper and Aqua, as well as Flower and Aqua, but they are not the main focus.
