Summary
Astarion stares down his nose with that familiar haughty glare. “I suppose that makes us even, now.”
You search his face, trying to find the missing piece that will make the puzzle take shape. You think of what little he’s told you about his life before this strange journey of yours. A cruel master that delighted in his pain and two hundred years of being brought to heel.
It comes to you in a dizzying rush. “You think I left you there as punishment.”
Astarion accidentally, kinda-sorta drains your blood and leaves you for dead. Three weeks later, you drop a monastery on him. You refuse to let the story end there.

Summary
Kairos bares his neck, displaying the expanse of his throat. “You don’t owe me,” he murmurs, as he beckons Astarion forward. “You told me it was a gift that first time, didn’t you? Gifts aren’t repaid.”
“Hm.” Astarion trails a light touch up Kairos’ throat, forcing him to angle his head back further. “In children’s books, perhaps. You’re rather naive, with fangs at your throat.”
“You’re not very scary,” Kairos responds, and Astarion bites him.
Astarion waits for it to get worse. Strangely, it never does.

Summary
He never quite stopped sleeping with a weapon however, nor with his hand far from it. So when he feels the slightest touch in the night, Wyll doesn’t think. There is no time for thinking in a matter of life or death.
He reacts.
Wyll immediately curls his hand around his blade and throws his body against his mystery opponent. There’s a cry of surprise and Wyll takes advantage of that surprise, immediately pinning them under him with his body weight and pointing his blade inches from their neck.
It’s only then, with his opponent deathly still from under him, does Wyll’s mind catch up to him. He’s straddled a humanoid figure, one that trembles under him with their hands up in surrender. And with his Devil’s Sight— a regrettably useful gift from Mizora— Wyll realizes that he recognizes this figure.
(Or Wyll has been ambushed in his sleep before. When Astarion attempts to get a quick bite in, he is met with the instincts of a monster hunter.)

Summary
For all Mizora’s attempts to keep Wyll isolated and dependent on her, there is one thing she can never take from him: the Blade of Frontiers. In his head, Wyll rewrites his own story and tells himself tales of his ideal self. No pact binds the Blade, no stone eye sits in his socket, and he doesn’t have to thank a devil for the beard on his face or the depth of his voice. As he begins to unravel the mystery of Astarion’s easy charm and clumsy lies, Wyll even lets himself pretend that he could someday have a life beyond the hunt.
Mizora’s plans for Wyll go deeper than his pact, though. When she warps Wyll’s body into a shape of her own design, she also gives him a few gifts. Changes he has wanted for years are now permanently sculpted into his flesh with a fiendish twist, and Wyll can only ask himself… What would the Blade do?
Or: Wyll copes with his devil boner by writing fanfiction of his own alter ego, and Astarion tries out some high-stakes strategies for monster hunter seduction.

Summary
At fifteen, Wyllyam Ravengard thought himself a man, or near enough. At seventeen, with his pact signed and eye gouged out, he felt both a child and a man grown before his time. At twenty-four, Wyll sees himself for the boy he was then.
At fifteen, Wyllyam Ravengard thought the bride clad in silk a woman grown, her skin faintly painted in designs which glowed from the nightlight essence that formed the ink, with moonstones and star-sapphires on her brow and neck and wrists. At seventeen, he thought the young woman stunning, and her eyes sad, and her lot in life unjust- like a maiden from a fairy-story. At twenty-four, Wyll sees her as she was: barely more than a child herself and trapped in a web as tight and inescapable as any phase spider’s.
He sees her now, across the fire, nearly as changed as he in the nine years since that first dance. -

Summary
It was the smallest he had ever looked to Astarion, but there was no comfort to be found in it. Astarion thought he had seen every twisted mask that face was capable of – from sadistic pleasure to bored detachment and everything in between – but he was wrong. The icy hatred in Cazador’s eyes was a novelty that chilled Astarion to his core, and he knew his master would not rest until he made his creation regret the day it stepped out of line.
Astarion and his companions prevented Cazador from completing the Ascension, but his former master escaped before they could strike a killing blow. Now, in the wake of the Absolute's defeat, Astarion has no choice but to wait and see what form Cazador's revenge might take.

Summary
“Promise you won’t laugh? Like, swear on your undead life?”
“I swear on my-” Astarion choked on his spit. “My what?”
“Your undead life?” Gale tilted his head like a confused puppy. “Did you think the whole vampire thing was a secret?”
“Well. kind of?”
Gale laughed in earnest. “Astarion, I know you can’t see yourself but you have to understand what you look like. You look like whatever an emo kid imagines when they picture themselves grown up, with your perfect hair, eyeliner, and the leather jacket thing.”
“I-”
“Also if the ethereal beauty wasn't enough, you have a blood flask in your jacket pocket at all times.”
Astarion blinked, but quickly gained his composure, a damn near predatory grin stretching across his lips, highlighted by the fact that he was no longer hiding his fangs. “So you think I'm beautiful, wizard boy?”
Gale rolled his eyes, trying to keep the flush off his cheeks. “Of course I do, Astarion.”

Summary
Karlach didn't have tons of experience with relationships but she did know that your beau saying 'we need to talk' is never a good thing.
After they get to the Last Light Inn, Astarion had something to say to her. It pissed her right the fuck off. It hurt, bad, right in the center of her chest which is already threatening to melt its way through her spine. She just-- she needed a minute to think. -

Summary
“So, is this the part of the break-up where you decide to focus on self-improvement, making yourself more agile and attempting to become more attractive in order to follow some notion of having revenge on your ex?”
“It would have to have been a relationship in order for us to have broken up." Gale mocks.
Gale and Astarion are firmly no longer dating; they weren't even together in the first place, if Astarion is to be believed. If someone could tell the Fates to stop throwing them together so that Gale can finally start to heal, that would be really helpful.

Summary
“I was a magistrate in the upper city before I was taken,” the elf said when they first met, his smile perfectly wide and eyes perfectly steady. They thought about the ease in which he swept them to the ground, the tips of fangs hidden behind his lips, the sunlit dagger flashing at his hip— and they also smiled, and let it slide.
“Sure. What a wonderfully reasonable occupation to have.”
Five times Astarion withholds the truth, and one time he does not.

Summary
Del landed somewhere on the Sword Coast seconds before dying, with only the clothes on her back and a few now useless items in her purse. When confronting the reality she was now faced with, she realized she was going to need to start her life all over again in a world she was only slightly familiar with. With no skills worthy of a life in Faerun, she must somehow relearn how to survive.
When she finally does so, however, her world is turned upside down once again as she is pulled into a battle of a lifetime - a battle she’s fought before, but in a video game. Forced to run into familiar faces, retracing steps in a story she’s played before, Del struggles to maintain her facade. Her companions can never find out she’s done all of this before… and that she knows all possible branching paths the adventure could take them on. Can she keep her secrets to herself?
