    Summary

Narinder had once loved his siblings and yet they had betrayed him, had chained him, had abandoned him. Then he had put his faith in the Lamb, believing they would free him at last, and again he was betrayed. Perhaps these were just the consequences of his own actions, but even so, now he is enslaved, made mortal, and he must find a way to live when all he has ever known is death.

    Summary

"The Lamb’s first ever death was done by a rusty axe that had never seen a sharpener a day in its life. The axe had taken two swings to go all the way through their neck, and it had hurt. They’d been alive just long enough to feel blood climb up their throat and spill from their mouth.

The cat was kinder with his murder. The scythe was sharp and the cat’s cut was clean, getting the job done in a single swipe. There was pain for only a moment. Perhaps they wouldn’t have minded being murdered by him so much if it was only once. In fact, they think they would have liked it if he were their executioner."

Praise be the Lamb, Death's most loyal solider. When told by their god to kneel and be sacrificed in his name, they'd done so without hesitation or desire to live on.

But what are they do with themself when they awaken after their execution. Huddled in a dimly lit room and being stared down by piercing red eyes that seem so strangely familiar.

Or, I spontaneously decided to make a short little fic about the Lamb having amnesia to get myself out of a writer's block.

    Summary

Narinder entertains the Lamb and endeavors to remain patient with them because “he wants the Lamb to be utterly, completely devoted to him.” Unbeknownst to him, the Lamb has been deeply devoted from the beginning, and he harbors increasingly concerning emotions towards the Lamb that he doesn’t quite know how to handle.

The Lamb promised to provide joy for both he and his disciples. Narinder envisioned it—how nice the breath of fresh grass would be, how warm the covers of a bed might be like on his fur, how curious his travels with the Lamb will feel. Then all at once his foolishness washed over his back like cold water. Narinder frowned deeply, and emotions that he refused to define as yearning quickly contorted into wrath. Thoughts paced rapidly through his mind—The Lamb made him this way, the Lamb passed on their foolishness to him, and he has been charmed by the Lamb. He felt no longer like a god, no. He felt sick within his body. He was nothing more than a weak and bumbling clown, harvesting feelings for a mortal playing as a false deity.

… But try as he might, he could not deny his raging emotions any longer.

    Summary

Narinder had waited a long time, sitting on his throne, not speaking a single word. In his self exile he forgot time moves forwards even if we may wish it had not.
Lamb with a fleece as white as snow will one day set him free, not from the chains that bind him but his guilt or at least she will try to and just maybe she will be able to free herself from her own chains with a bit of ‘’divine help’’

    Summary

It was done, he had defeated The One Who Waits. The one who he had worshiped in every way he possibly could for over 400 years. He loved the God too, not the way a disciple should love their God. Now that same god is here on his knees and out of breath before the lamb. He looks so small like this compared to what he once was, the god of death confined to mortal form. Arlo did not deserve to love his god anymore, not after what he just did. But it was his life, his most beloved god had asked him to lay down the second life that had been so graciously given to him. Arlo is not giving that up, even if the one asking for it was the one that gave it to him. Gifts are not meant to be taken back.

or, Arlo has just defeated the God of Death, said God seems weirdly chill about the whole thing and it confuses the heck out the lamb. Then Narinder proceeds to make himself Arlo's self-appointed adviser, or in other words, follows the lamb around every were he goes
