This is essentially a self-indulgent rewrite of Twisted Wonderland with a rather self-insert MC, but I hope the characterization is good enough that you all might enjoy it too.

It was such a ridiculous, blatant lie that Jamil nearly laughed at himself. Until that moment, he hadn’t even realized how untrue it was.
“Really? Well,” Vil said casually. “He’s clearly hung up on you.”

“Am I…Offputting? So inhuman I come off as cold, distant…” He paused, “I mean, I’m not human, and that shouldn’t bother me but…”

Jade doesn’t show up for his shift and so Azul asks Riddle to look for him. Riddle finds him, though, in a way he hadn’t expected. Instead of finding human Jade, Riddle finds him shifted back, singing a sirens song meant to pull on the deepest parts of the listener. Riddle, unaware or his desires, ends up having quite the talk with Jade about their pasts and potentially his future with Azul and Floyd. -
