At his silence, Ayub let out the most dramatic of sighs.
“And who was your crush in it?” Wille asked Simon, who found himself suddenly embarrassed by his earlier admission.
“Ed, the main character,” he said sheepishly, as Wilhelm pulled out his phone to begin gooling.
“Wait,” Ayub said suddenly looking pointedly between the two of them, “ I get it now. He’s your type. Blonde, brown eyes, lanky, a bit of a temper.Will punch you if need be.”
“Me?” Wilhelm asked, not sure of what had just taken place,
“No, not you! Ed, Edward Elric. I am, however, connecting some dots there.”

Wilhelm's breath hitched as his eyes flickered up to meet Simon's, his head melting into Simon's palm.
"I'll try," Wilhelm whispered into the air, chocolate eyes never leaving Simon's dark honey ones.
Simon took a small step forward as Wilhelm buried his face in the crook of Simon's shoulder, sighing deeply as he wrapped his arms around Simon.
"I know Willie, it's going to be okay."
I love you, Wilhelm wanted to say.
I love you so much, more than anyone else could. Wilhelm's grip tightened as he confessed his thoughts silently. So much.

“And I am telling you that Wille isn’t here.” Simon walks away from the front door and into his bedroom quickly.

"I was thinking we can cook something together," Simon said while brushing his teeth. "Here, at home."
"Like what?" Wille asked, moving sides, facing the window, seeing that it started to rain while the sun was still shining. "Something Spanish?"
"No," Simon replied to his boyfriend as he got dressed in front of him. "Pasta or pizza or chicken soup or–"
"Fuck," Wille hissed as he got up to take his phone and looked at his calendar. "I have a meeting at one of the state schools in the afternoon that I completely forgot about. With the Queen herself, of course."
Or: Wille still tries to get used to his royal duties and deal with the pressure that lands on him as Sweden's next – and most definitely queer – King but of course, it's a lot easier with Simon by his side.
