Summary
He believed in magics, of course. He’d been at the hands of the healers too often to patch himself up to not believe. But there was a vast difference between seeing magic working, and a person claiming to be able to “read your fate.”

the Spineless Serenade by Mersi Kokhavasheva (PurpleNidoqueen)
Fandoms: Final Fantasy XIV

Summary
War in the north has found peace; those who fought alone to the east have found allies. From the patrol squadrons of Ishgard comes Mersi Kokhavasheva of the Knights Dragoon; from the war rooms of Rhalgr's Reach comes A'rhya Valore. This is not a story of their struggles, but of a rare moment in between. This is the story of a chance to grasp, and of their refusal to let go.
[Final Fantasy XIV | Heavensward spoilers and vague references to Final Fantasy XIV | Stormblood spoilers! The timeline is remixed to suit the life of a Warrior of Light and her friends. This story takes place in the weeks before a previous story, Coerthan Call; after the level 54 Main Scenario quest, "He Who Would Not Be Denied"; and during the Ala Mhigan rebellion of Stormblood. This story is a fine place to start, but is also a fine follow-up to the previously released pair in the story of Mersi Kokhavasheva.]

Summary
In the fallout of her abduction by the heretics of Coerthas, Mersi Kokhavasheva rests with her fiancée in the shadow of war. Trauma shapes her future, worsened by the knowledge of how and why, of agency and fate. With the help of the one she loves, a woman broken must once again be made whole.
All the while, the Dragon roars.
[Final Fantasy XIV | Heavensward | Dragoon Questline spoilers AND perhaps a teeny smidgen of Final Fantasy XIV | Stormblood spoilers! The timeline has been adjusted and remixed to suit that of a Warrior of Light and her friends; this story takes place in the weeks after the previous story, Coerthan Call; after the level 56 Dragoon quest, "Dragoon's Errand"; during a lull in the level 57 main scenario quest, "the Search for Soleil"; and during the Ala Mhigan rebellion of Stormblood.]

Summary
For a month, River has been either convalescing, or cooped up in bed. It depends on who you ask. One thing he and Thancred can agree on is that a month is a long time to go without sex. Thancred doesn't want to do anything that risks exacerbating River's injuries, but River promises he'll be OK.

Summary
"I think you are too enamored with espionage," said Y'shtola, and Urianger did not disagree. Still, for all his secrets and withheld truths, he did not see them as sacrifices for naught. For the good of their star. For the good of their friend.
He would keep his mouth shut.

Summary
The gift of new love is presented; be open to receiving this gift from the divine.
He turned, feeling the warmth of Syrion’s gaze on the back of his neck like the last rays at dusk. He would remember it; the Halonic presence of Astromancy, the tongue-in-cheek manner of a man nearly known, the humility magick and knowledge evoked in their witness. As Aymeric began down the slope, he held it all close to his chest, knowing that his blooming fascination had elicited a great change in him. He welcomed it, the lesson slipping down his throat like creme.

Summary
Ishgard's grey stone walls are held together by sheer force of will, it seems. It is safe there, as much as it can be with the ever looming threat of Nidhogg and his brood. The streets beneath the temple's spires and the twisted alleyways of the Brume are beginning to feel like home. Haurchefant is there, in the middle of it all. It is easier to breathe when he is around.
It's a bad idea for a Viera to fall for an Elezen, but he does it anyway.

Summary
Death might come for a Warrior of Light, but even then they would be hard pressed to actually rest. A fact that Fleur learns when she finds herself reincarnated into a world so changed it's barely recognizable.
Still, it's a chance at a new life and Fleur has never been one to squander chances.
Even if this chance involves weird princes and their inability to keep their magic to themselves.

Summary
The complete collection of what I wrote for this year's Junelezen challenge as well as the screenshots I took for each piece. For this challenge I tried to take snapshots of Aurelle's relationships with various different people and places, especially the ones that aren't getting so much spotlight in my main works. Most are vague and contextless enough to be read without fear of spoilers, but there'll be warning notes at the beginning of the chapters that could be more risky. If you're here for a specific character tag, each chapter title has the focus character or place added in brackets for ease of navigation.

"Likening you to sunlight might be in poor taste," he says, "so I hope you would understand if I were to say your presence is as brilliant and soothing as the moon."
Oh, you think. You press a hand to your chest, measuring the time it takes for you to respond in racing heartbeats, and all you can think to yourself is oh no.

Summary
In Eorzea, some say that the Warriors of Light were born with the Mothercrystal’s blessing; chosen from the many preconceived souls of the aether. Others believe that while greatness is something that a privileged few are born into, true heroism is something that all should aspire, a pillar of humanity that anyone can live up to. But Hydaelyn chooses Her champions by machinations of her own, while surrendering Her gifts to the capricious nature of mankind’s free will.
And in this world wherein heroes and adventurers are part of the humdrum of every corner, one bard’s journey will change the fate of the realm.
A character expository-centric adaptation of Final Fantasy XIV.

Summary
There, leaning against the balustrade and facing away, stood G’raha Tia, his hood down and face turned up towards the sky.
The Warrior of Light has decided to take some well-deserved time off and ends up spending her night talking with G'raha Tia and teaching some Crystarium children a thing or two about stars.

Summary
This begins at the end of the Syrcus Tower raid series, and fills the summarized time gap from when the Tower was opened again until arrival on the First. May continue up to the beginning of ShB. So that is a terrible summary.
Written from (mostly) G'raha's perspective, from what happened the moment he was sealed behind the Tower doors, though his arrival on the First- and maybe, to continue to and/or through the pre 5.0 quests' timeline.
