Everything has been at peace since the ninja defeated the Overlord, and the day was saved once again, Years after they're last battle, all has been peaceful with the occasional fight to take. But while everyone thought there wasn't much to do since they're last big adventure, all of that changed when a huge event happened that changed Ninjago forever, the Merge. Despite the Ninja's best efforts to save any people they can, when they tried finding the source of where it's coming from, an explosion happens, and Kai, and the rest of the ninja vanish, Kai sees a strange vision happen before he wakes up, he hears strange voices speak around him, and before Kai could process it, he feels a huge power come into him from these creatures, which would change Kai's life forever.
But when Kai finally awakens, he finds himself on an island far off from Ninjago, or what used to be Ninjago, despite his attempts at surviving on his own and trying to find a way to get home, he isn't able to find out how to escape. That is, until he meets a certain Serpentine witch who ended up on the same island as him, and an unlikely trust opens up for the both of them as they try to escape the island, and find out what caused this disaster...

Lloyd was marched into the throne room. It was uncomfortably hot.
A masked man sat at the end, on a large gilded throne wreathed in fire.The mask in question was designed to resemble a fanged skull. His messy mahogany hair was aflame, tied in a loose ponytail, and a gold circlet lay on top. A large staff blazing with sparks and inferno was in his hand. He was wearing some kind of elaborate armour, with red and black plating along with what looked like golden rope. There was some sort of black smudging under his eyes, and a large scar slashing one in half.
He had only ever knew one person with scars over an eye, and mastery over fire. But it was impossible.
The soldiers dragged Lloyd along until he was just at the feet of the throne. Looking up, he found himself staring straight into his eyes.
Blood-red. What seemed at first to be black smudges, he realised, was actually tear tracks- staining his face, blending into skin.'Who dares to trespass in my fortress?'

A quiet chuckle escaped his lips, no one would dare defy him. But he was snapped out of those thoughts as he heard his father call out to him, and asking him to give back the staff. Lloyd hesitated for a moment, could his father not see how Lloyd having this power be useful?

Summary
During the battle against Krux and Acronix on the Iron Doom when it was traveling through time, Wu isn't the only one who vanishes through time as a self sacrifice, Kai vanishes too, and while Nya went back to the present, Kai and Wu were lost in time. While Wu ended up in the present as a baby, for Kai, he was sent thousands of years into the past, to the time of Ninjago just after it was created by the First Spinjitzu Master.
Kai is found by the First Spinjitzu Master after falling through the sky, and when Kai wakes up, he has no memories of who he is or how he got here, and with nowhere to go, Kai is allowed to stay until they come back. During this time, he meets Wu and Garmadon when they were kids, and from here, he sees the events that fall out from his childhood, and especially when they get into trouble involving the Serpentine tribe, the Pyro Vipers. Kai may not remember who he is, but he has to find out what to do, so he can regain his memories, and find his way home, even if it's at a great cost..

A certain event has been on Lloyd's mind for quite some time—the Merge.
In a world where special boys and girls go to different schools to become the heroes (or villains) of tomorrow, funding for Darkley's and Darkla's has dropped tremendously, and Headmasters Wu and Aspheera have to (with the advice of Cyrus Borg) resort to merging the schools. With both genders now forced to stay in one school, it can only go downhill. A battle of the sexes, hormones, and unfriendly competition, the boys and girls of now Ninjago Techincal College must learn to get along, and hopefully gain a little compassion along the way.
Aka, A Ninjago High School Au (I know so original!!!!) where everyone's worst enemy is probably the opposite gender.
(No, there will not be any graphic smut scenes! A slight mention of attempted rape is involved, and intimacy will go as far as lime, or just implied. Everyone is about 17-19. (if not already one of the adults))

It's been a year since Wojira attacked Ninjago City, and Nya merged with the ocean, seemingly forever.
The Ninja broke apart, drifting away from each other, until a new threat gives them reason to unite.
Soon after, though, they end up in Kryptarium Prison, where they learn of a foe who wants to assemble a Council of the Ninja's enemies.
The Crystal King must be found, and stopped, or else Ninjago will plunged into darkness, forever. -
