Summary
In an alternate universe, Fearne decides she doesn't want the Spark of Rau'shan. Orym decides to take it in her stead. Ashton tries to be there for them both.
Originally started writing this for the Ashrym Week 2023 prompt: Orym Takes the Shard. Lost steam on it partway through, but decided it was still a fun AU, so I kept plugging away at it. Might revisit it again in the future.

Summary
Ashton Greymoore doesn't believe in ghosts. Or, at least, he didn't until moving in, with his two friends, to a house that was once owned by Percival and Vax'ildan de Rolo, who mysteriously turned up dead the last Halloween.
And, despite his skepticism, Ashton somehow finds himself not just encountering a ghost, but throwing himself head-first into a mess of magic, mystery, unconventional relationships, and one very stubborn locked door...
...consequences be damned.

Summary
Dorian is usually careful about casual touches, not much more comfortable with the sort of familiarity it invites than Ashton is. So, if he’s doing it now, wearing that false smile that’s as much an effort to hide his true feelings as it is to protect everyone else’s, it must be important.
