Summary
They were almost polar opposites. Tall and short, quiet and chatty, focused and distractible, grounded and imaginative—it was a wonder they got along as well as they did.
And yet, they were comrades. Partners in crime, sisters in arms, together more often than not exploring Shibahama, founding the Eizouken with Mizusaki and Doumeki, and running off on whatever adventure Asakusa had set her mind on. They had a loyalty and trust in each other that only came from deep understanding of the other’s quirks and flaws, but that understanding took years to develop.

Summary
With the formation of the Film Research Club, Kanamori, Asakusa, and Mizusaki have their work cut out for them if they intend on following their dreams of making hit anime! Every club needs a teacher to keep its members in check though, even if said teacher is present in spirit only. Luckily for the Eizouken crew, it might turn out that their patron babysitter might actually be more useful than he appears to be along with some impressive skills to boot! If so, then their editor is sure to have his work cut out for him as he learns more about each of protégées, fostering strong friendships not only with himself but also among the trio as well. Perhaps even the cool, calculating, and intimidatingly tall Kanamori might have a bit of a challenge for herself as well as she finds herself opening up to this new face who sees her for more than just her physical appearance. Producers usually work hand-in-hand with editors after all, don't they?

Asakusa stares at her with big, dewy eyes. Then, she hiccups and bursts into sobs.
Sayaka sighs, wincing as the girl carries on. Ugh… she hates dealing with emotional outbursts.
