Summary
Yashi was a musician at heart. She barely played games, even with her mother being a game journalist. She wanted to pursue the sounds of the world that united people, that everyone could understand. But she followed her heart too far. Following her best friend into the unknown hell that was Aincrad.
That was two years ago. Now, the assault team have cleared the 75th floor, but something happened. Even though Kirito, the Black Swordswoman, seemingly beat Kayaba Akihiko, the game hadn't ended. Something had occurred that kept them trapped, even with the promise seemingly being kept.
Now Yashi, Kirito, Asuna, and their friends are trapped on the 76th floor, the game preventing them from going back.
But the game bugging doesn't explain the strange song Yashi has been hearing, or the strange figure she's been seeing in her dreams.

I have been tweeking this story as much as I could, and this, I feel, is the proper iteration of this fan fiction. I am still proud of what I have written, but I felt as though something was lacking. So instead of Yashima's full story being in one collection, I will split the story up into individual arcs. So this is Arc One - Sonata of the Hollows
