Summary
Short summary, because I suck at those: another elf shows up at Tirharad at the same time the Numenoreans do, and Elendil discovers he is not the tallest person in Middle-Earth (yes, that needs fixing as well). An attempt to resurrect a very old fanfic series I never published and see if I can meld it with the new Rings of Power series. Keeping most of the series characterizations but allowing for canon to flow in where it needs to, with the addition of an OC.

Summary
Halbrand, heir to the throne of the Southlands, finds himself stranded in the middle of the ocean with only the old man Diarmid for a friend. That is, until they rescue Galadriel, Commander of the Northern Armies, from the bitter waters. Picked up by a Númenorean ship on its way home, the trio finds safety within the island kingdom. Galadriel will not let Halbrand forget his destiny, or avoid it. But the Shadow is once again stirring in Middle-earth, and she is not the only power vying for his attention—nor his loyalty.

Summary
Sauron did not leave Galadriel, after her dramatic jump off the cliff but he took her to Mordor. In a fit of his pride, he wants her to surrender to him and uses his blood magic to do so. Galadriel actually yields to him, but not in the way he imagined. What he didn't foresee was that her light would change him too. Imperceptibly, their souls become more and more bound to each other, and he has a chance at redemption for the first time in centuries. Will he take this chance, or will he choose darkness and evil as always when darkness reigns over Middle-earth again? Did their feeling full of pain and passion ever have a chance to survive?

Summary
Galadriel and Halbrand are in Númenor. When she is thrown in jail for sedition against the Queen Regent, she and Halband find themselves alone and able to plan for the future. Galadriel is bent on continuing her quest to find Morgoth's Shadow, but Halbrand attempts to change her plans. He plants within her mind the idea that she should rest. Relax. Cease her journey. His words worm their way into her innermost being and what should have been the bridge to the next leg of her hunt for Sauron turns into an opportunity to help the Queen Regent with a problem of her own. As Galadriel works to avert a crisis heading for Numenor, she and Halbrand grow closer and closer, even to the point of falling in love.
But Galadriel doesn't know what lurks beneath the surface… That the very one she seeks is beneath her own passionate hands. That the destruction of Numenor resides in the intentions of the man she has come to love more than life itself.
*This is a canon-divergent fic, with things in Numenor happening differently than they do in The Rings of Power Season One.

Galadriel knows that voice. That drawled, amused, slightly condescending voice. Her mind is still hazy from sleep but her heart warms with an instinctive flicker of happiness.
“No stew this time, I’m afraid,” the voice continues, rough with the accent of the Southlands. “Poisoned or otherwise.”
His words and the familiarity of the walls around her overlap in her mind, nudging her to remember something. She follows their trail sluggishly, slotting memories into place as she finds them. She takes a moment to admire the full picture – and then comes the weight of remembering, of loss and rage, crushing her with a weight so heavy it pins her to the stone cot beneath her. Her breath leaves her in a rush, exhaling those last little sleepy shards of hope.Or:
Pharazôn is convinced Sauron and Galadriel are allies, and intends to make them face a reckoning which begins back in a Númenórean prison cell.

A gift which she quickly foists onto her most trusted Sea Captain, for he is one of the few who speaks the Elven language and she knows that he will be kind.
