Now, he believes she must have been kidnapped, and the only way Kayla and Chiron see to convince him otherwise is to allow him to enter camp for a short period of time to see both the truth of the world around him that the mist prevented him from seeing, as well as the fact that Kayla is perfectly safe in their hands.

Apollo took the risk and told Darren who he really was and if he wanted he could give him a child. Of course it would mean Apollo would have to keep his distance to keep their child safe.
