In a world divided by four nations- named after the four cardinal directions- four sacred beasts watch over the lands. In an attempt at the ever so coveted 'world peace,' these guardian spirits appoint thirteen 'protectors' to keep peace and prosperity among the lands. Groups of these thirteen are chosen every century, but one group in particular will stand out more than the others. Their goal is to to unify all four nations, but this group of ‘chosen ones’ will dare to do the one thing their predecessors never could do. Unify themselves.
Basically the studio kids being one big found family with superpowers.
Also basically Violetta meets Japanese mythology/folklore meets some Avatar the last airbender influences.
