Abnegation councilman’s daughter Beatrice Prior is newly seventeen and on the cusp of deciding which faction she will belong to for the rest of her life. Her inquisitive heart is set on joining the Erudite— a group of scientists, teachers, and doctors led by the controversial Jeanine Matthews. However, she soon learns that leaving isn’t as simple as it seems.
Jeanine Matthews was elected at age thirty-five as the youngest ever leader of her faction. Now, seven years later, she finally sees the chance to rid the city of what she believes has been plaguing it all along.
Retelling the story of Divergent without Divergence. Also absent are serums, fear landscapes, Tris/Four, the Bureau, and other high-tech worldbuilding elements. In their place is an exploration of group dynamics, weird American religious stuff, power, and women (always).

This is the same as my other story however there is a lot of added bonus stuff now that I am going back to edit and add things I wish I had added the first time around. Obviously with the requested more Eric stuff the story will change slightly, I am also going to explore more for other relationships. People liked not so shitty Eric and asked for him to make it further in the story than he normally would and I have decided to see how far I can take it, He might not be end game despite the request for him to be. We'll see how it goes. For those of you who haven't read the original please do, it would help you understand what has changed and what hasn't.
