Summary
Fëanor stood at the edge of the glittering lake, some strange feeling building in his chest. He had been so certain of their path, of what measures he and his people would need to make in this strange new world. But even as he went to set fire to the ships that had taken them over the waters, away from those he had somehow thought as traitors, a great storm had arose and the wind had stung them on the beach with such a force that it had put out the torches one by one...before they ever had a chance to touch the ships and set them alight.
It felt like that same wind had driven something from him. Some strange madness that had been building for days. His head ached and his limbs felt heavy and strange. The storm had driven them back from the waters and by the time the skies had cleared once more it felt as though he could think again. He had sent the ships back over the water and had taken his people inwards, not waiting for the others, knowing that they would need to find some clean water and a good camp to take stock and gather their strength for what was to come.

As ancient forces awoke and her foresight is taken over by a strange being from beyond the circles of Arda... or perhaps not... she must guide those closer to her towards another destiny in which they could win. Or perhaps let herself be guided so she realizes the mistakes she unknowingly committed.

It’s been a little over two years since Maedhros got out of an abusive relationship. Sure, he’s still got some lingering trauma and some unresolved issues with his dad, but at least now he has support from his family, his therapist, an actual circle of queer friends, and an amazing boyfriend. Really, he can’t believe how lucky he is to have found Fingon. All that he has to is make it through a family wedding, survive his comprehensive exams, and deal with the sudden return of his sex drive and all the kinks that he thought he’d left behind. But with Fingon at his side, he’s sure that he can manage all of that.
And Fingon? Well, he’s never backed down from a challenge before, and he survived coming out to himself and Maedhros after spending twenty-three years convinced that he was straight. He’s sure that he can handle coming out to almost everyone he knows as long as it means that he gets to love Maedhros publicly and proudly. Really, with Maedhros’ support and guidance, he can’t imagine anything going wrong.
Title comes from Maggie Rogers’ song “Anywhere With You.”

Summer vacation, family roadtrips, mysterious landscapes, maybe dimension travel and emotional elves... Just normal things one experiences after finishing another semester at the university. Okay, maybe the last two isn't that normal.
It certainly wasn't for those in the minivan.
After falling - literally - into another dimension with nothing more than the clothes they brought for a camping trip - now gone wrong - they embark on a journey to get back to their homeworld. Of course, things aren't as easy as they seem... Except this isn't easy, why is everything on fire, who are those dudes with bad dental and why did their ears suddenly start to grow and why is this rock shining?
Maybe they shouldn't have listened to twinkly-eyed old men...WARNING!: This is pure crack-cocain. That halfway through planning became sentient, ate a Xanax and is now having feelings. Also decided to have foreigner names cuz why not.

Pengolodh wrote that Maeglin was a traitor of Gondolin who lusted after Idril....
But what if that version of history records was proved wrong, almost right after the Fall of Gondolin, thanks to the Halls of Mandos being in Valinor, while Idril was still stuck in Middle-earth for the next 15 years?
By the other slaves in Angband who had died and entered the Halls, and knew what Sauron and Morgoth likely did to drag that information out of Maeglin?
Answer: Idril and the rest of the surviving Gondolindrim coming off as the nasty ones, and those who died in the Fall, having to face that there is two sides of a coin/story as well their own threatment of Maeglin
And one very, very upset Anaire about what her grandson is being painted as, by his own cousin.

Summary
They tell the story of the men and handful of women who left Valinor, out of bliss and into woe. But this is the tale of those they left behind. Their wives and daughters lament alongside the Valar in their grief. They may fight no battles, but their trials are just as heartbreaking.
One of these women is Y/n. Already an outsider in this family Y/n finds herself an outsider in the court of Finarifin. Her husband and father-in-laws actions are condemned her. Although Prince Finarfin supports her Y/n must find a way to stand on her own accord.
