“I was out and wanted to see my girl,” Shido says, and it makes her a little giddy in spite of everything. “I’ve been thinking of you all day.
“You’re lucky Ren isn’t here. How would I explain this?”
“You’re lucky you don’t have to then,” he says, leaning in to kiss her.
She lets him and he presses her up against the door, hands snaking under her sweatshirt, going right for her breasts. Goro whimpers as he pinches her nipples, wanting to stop him but melting under his touch. Ren has been out of town for so long and she’s been so desperate for someone to touch her. His big hands always feel so good. She helps him pull the sweatshirt off of her so he can suck on her breasts, stroking his head as he does.
Goro visits Shido in prison and finds herself unable to stay away from him.

Summary
Shido shows him photos of Akechi holding newspapers with the dates on them like he’s in a ransom video, which he might as well be in. Akechi’s eyes always burn with rage in these photos, no matter how blank his expression is. One day the photo shows Akechi with bruises on his face and Ren has to swallow tears as he asks what happened. Shido doesn’t elaborate and leaves Ren with bruises of his own. Ren cries himself to sleep that night, his body aching, and hopes Akechi is okay. Hopes that knowing Ren is alive is buoying for Akechi as it is for Ren.
After all that's been done to him, perhaps changing hearts is no longer what Ren wants to do.

“Give me your gun Akechi,” Shido says, beckoning him.
“I don’t…why do you want it?”
“Do I need a reason to do anything, boy? Do I need to tell you anything? Give me the fucking gun.”
Goro fidgets with the buttons of his blazer so he can reach for the pistol in the shoulder holster beneath. It’s not usually how he carries it; the compact size of the gun visible depending on how he stands. But he’s been paranoid, wanting to have its comforting weight as close to him as possible. He pulls it out and holds it limply, making sure the safety is still on. Goro could shoot Shido now, get some semblance of revenge before he can ever reach his height. He’s a perfect shot but can’t bear the thought of accidentally hitting Ren. Uncertainty freezes him into inaction.
“I didn’t think you were this stupid, Akechi. Come here.” Shido punctuates the last word by pressing his hand into Ren’s bruise, the one prominent on his cheek. Ren cries out and tries to pull away, but Shido just tightens his grip on his throat.
Perhaps, if he had just gone along with the intended plan, Akechi could have avoided this fate.

Shido laughs and pulls Ren so their bodies are flush against each other. One hand pushes against Ren’s throat and the other jerks him roughly. The lack of oxygen is making his head spin and Shido is fucking him with long thrusts now, every terrible inch making Ren whine. Shido’s hot mouth is on Ren’s neck, pressing against his earlobe.
“You think he’s dead?”
“H-he died in your palace.”
“Are you sure?”
Ren is captured before stealing Shido’s treasure. He is made into something he never expected to enjoy.
