The Trickster kicks his feet where they're propped up on his table. “My muuuuuuuuuse?” he calls out in a sing-song voice, looking up to the counter of the café.
His toy stands behind the cash register, slowly chewing on a croissant from the display case of pastries. Very good thing they came across a place with food before leaving this wretched city. He kept forgetting to feed it! Maybe they should take some of those sweets with them, just so he doesn't have to go out of his way to find anything himself.
Not his fault he kept forgetting! Ugh. Food. Such a hassle.

Armed with an extraordinary ability to steal the powers of other Parahumans—because “borrowing” simply doesn’t capture the thrill—and driven by an insatiable desire to leave her mark on the world, Nova's arrival sparks a radical upheaval in Brockton Bay.
At least 1500 words a week, though more likely to be between 3-4 updates a week, with chapters being roughly 1500 words. Will be slower until I hit the canon stride and have more of a guide to go with.
