“It’s far from Sumeru City’s authority, you mean,” Candace retorts.
“It’s far from the Matra’s offices,” Cyno corrects. “It’s the Matra that keeps scholars safe. And it is the Matra that rescues anyone trapped in domains.”

Maybe it was just the combination of everything — Alhaitham's current vulnerable state, it being in the middle of the night, Cyno having been away for longer than anticipated — but unexpectedly, Cyno heard Alhaitham murmur, "I was just thinking about you." And then, in an even lower voice, "Cyno."
Alhaitham's pronunciation of Cyno's name was soft, and slower than usual — like he was taking the time to taste the word on his lips, to form a love confession in the syllables of Cyno's name. It made Cyno's skin heat in a way it didn't usually did, and which, in the darkness of the night Cyno could only hope went unnoticed.

“What do you mean make the freaking antagonist fall in love with me?”Alternatively, the one in which Cyno transmigrates into a shitty novel and his mission is to make the antagonist fall in love with him. While doing this, he also unravels different secrets across his adventure related to his past life and discovering that this transmigration thing is not what he believed it was in the first place.

Alhaitham was a defective alpha, completely infertile and immune to pheromones—just another reason society thought of him as a lunatic. But it put him in the unique position of being a non-threatening ‘safe’ alpha for omegas; someone who would never approach them for sexual favors and treated them without regard for their sex, and this even allowed him to start a side business where he helped omegas end their heats without fear of him ever getting attached to them.
After all, Alhaitham was solely attracted to betas. Or well, one beta in particular.
It was too bad Cyno had already rejected him.

That was, until Venti, Ei, Mauvika, Zhongli and Nahida paved the way for the children of the darkest souls to light up new paths for themselves and allowing them into their prestigious kingdom after their families were banished to the abyss for years and years.
It's been a while since these changes for the better came to Teyvat. Now, students from all over are allowed to attend the Akademiya. All over, except from the desert kingdom, ruled by its tyrannical emperor. When his son, Cyno suddenly gets the oppourtunity to attend the akademiya and his father actually allows it, nothing else can follow but chaos

Summary
After losing his guardians and still being a child, Alhaitam is forced to move with a distant branch of his family to the mysterious Temple of Silence, whose exact location no one knows.
There he realizes that the rules of the desert and specifically of this temple, are not the ones he knows neither are the morally accepted by society. In fact, slavery and human trafficking are apparently allowed behind closed doors. This is how he meets one of those sold children and becomes interested in him.
A canonical divergence, where the world of Teyvat is practically the same, except that I wrote the Temple of Silence in a crueler and darker way; of course the stories of Alhaitham and Cyno and perhaps some other character, are mostly modified.

There is absolutely no way Alhaitham could ever fall for the 4th floor Jackson Hall RA. Reasons? Plenty. (He has ten.)
1. Love is a very bad idea. Did he say love? He meant...relationships. In general. A bad idea. No, he doesn't have a complex.
