Was it the time a news reporter caught in a scandal died under mysterious circumstances? When he suddenly realized his least favorite officer had a worse nephew with whom he’d have to share a classroom? Or would it be more accurate to say it began when his hand passed through the screen of a malfunctioning television?
What mattered, what always mattered, was the goal: Goro Akechi discovering Inaba’s new serial killer and adding a pretty addition on his resume with bonus bragging rights. Nobody, no meddling high school student or older, will stop him from achieving it.
