Wilbur couldn’t believe his shitty luck.
Of all the things that could have done him in, it had to be a creeper. A creeper! He didn’t even get to die in a dramatic blaze of glory. If he’d been allowed to stay dead after giving his life up to revive Phil, he would have been fine with that. That was the kind of theatrical, epic, self-sacrificing death he deserved.
But no. He had died to the hands of a stray creeper. How boring.
And now here he was, on a subway train with glaring red lights, rattling along the tracks in a tunnel to who-knows-where.

This is a story for the free trial smp. I don't know what I'm doing with this yet, but I'm starting now to hopefully work on it.
How do you live your life when your doom is projected on a clock? How do you spend your last days with inevitable death hanging over your head? How do you survive when everyone around you is dying?
The border protects them from the rest of the deadly gas that fills the planet. It's saving them from an unpredictable death and an unknown amount of time they have left. But it leaves only 30 days with not enough resources and a sure chance of death. Everything was explained in the message, right? So, why are there so many questions?
