Or one comment from Dimple made Reigen and Mob realize they weren't like father and son but their relationship ran a little bit differently than that. Something more meaningful, and Reigen hadn't realized it when Dimple made that comment, but he did when he found out some things about themselves from another comment made by Serizawa. In the end it didn't even matter because they knew they would always be there for each other anyway.
