Summary
I seldom felt the need to add anything to a scene. In this case, I did. There were many things left unspoken, and my muse was nagging me to come up with something. I don't say it's perfect or that's the way it should have been. I'm sharing my idea with you and hope you enjoy the addendum so that this scene wouldn't feel like an unfinished symphony.

Timeframe two days after their talk at Kamekona's. The scene ended with an awkward fist-bump while it demanded a big fat hug IMHO (I know Danny hurt his wing but Steve would have been gentle for sure). For me, this whole scene left a stale aftertaste. My muse egged me on to come up with something to smooth things out. So here we go...

Once more I felt compelled to come up with a fix-it for another episode of H50. 8.07 made me cringe when I saw how much Steve was hurting while Danny was God only knows where. The boys always have each other's back, no matter what. Grover attempted to support Steve with shallow phrases. This was not what he needed. Steve would've needed Danny to comfort him and tell him everything's going to be all right, even if the cop turned out to be a perp. I missed that Steve didn't reach out to Danny by giving him a call or whatever, it did not sit right with me. I don't promise you the ultimate solution. But I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing.

Summary
Steve centered fix-it for episode 8.07. Call it a prequel to my other fix-it "The-Heist-Aftermath." After I've posted this fix-it, I came to the conclusion that the way the writers had handled Steve's "mishap" was more than unsatisfying because after he'd learned he'd shot not one of their own but a perp he went back to SuperSEAL mode. And that's it with all the angst and stuff in this episode. Gimme a break. Not even SuperSEAL Steve can make such a u-turn in his behavior. Probably until the bad guys were caught. But we did not see any repercussions. Instead, he drove Adam home and met with Tani after she called him, without further ado. Ignoring his own feelings. What about all the hours he'd spent in utter despair, all alone because Danny wasn't there? I had expected a meltdown at some point. The ending of the episode left me, even more, craving for some depth.

This is an additional scene that happened before Steve showed up at Danny's and ends with the couchgument after the screen went dark. I loved the episode but was missing something. Once more, my muse nudged me in the right direction.

Yes, episode 8.12 might have been great, but it could've had been better with Danny in it. For me, it felt like I've been watching a different show. A show where Danny Williams was nonexisting. Maybe it was just me. However, I felt compelled to come up with an additional scene. After Adam left, Steve felt the urge to pay a visit to Danny who was still on sick leave.

Summary
The time frame is episode 8.17 after Lou and Oddell left the office. I wouldn't call it an episode fix it because it is more an addition and includes also flashbacks to episode 8.10. Again, I was missing something in this episode. So my muse nudged me until I gave in. The title and parts of this story were inspired by the song "Brother" by Kodaline.

Summary
This is an addendum that takes place after Danny rescued Steve from the tank. It discloses their thoughts and what they went through emotionally. I don't say it is perfect or the real deal. It is just what my muse came up with while I had a nice convo with a good friend of mine about this scene.

Additional scenes for episode 9.10. Timeframe: Joe White post-mortem. This is about Steve and Danny. Like so many other episodes in s8 and s9, this is another one that left a shallow taste. Another pivotal episode that left Steve totally devastated and without the man on his side, who means the world to him, Danny. I don't say I have the perfect solution. I just wanted to set some things straight and find a more or less smooth transition to what is lying ahead.

Summary
The story begins where episode 9.10 ended. Inspired by the promotional pics for H50 episode 9.11 my muse went into overdrive. It’s going to be an emotional and, sometimes, dark rollercoaster ride. After Joe's death, Steve is bruised, battered but not defeated. Join him! (Proofread)
Exhausted, Steve leaned against the doorframe. The noise of the exploding bullets didn't help the trauma he suffered from the explosions. His ears started to ring, and nausea was washing over him. "This is definitely not the time or the place to drop out, buddy. Get a fucking grip," Steve told himself between clenched teeth. Yes, he was tired as hell. Yes, he was on the verge of losing it. Yes, he was close to falling apart. And yes, he'd loved to cuddle up into a fetal position in one of the dark corners. Only, this was not him. He was bruised and battered but not defeated, and he was still on a mission. A mission that had gone south in many ways.

Summary
This is not just a fix it for episode 9.11 but also the sequel to my other story Scarred; The Siren's Song that dealt with the aftermath of Joe's death. The plot inherits canon divergence as Catherine Rollins is not part in any of this but other characters are added and the storyline, in general, differs from the show.
“Isn’t it cute how these two finish each other's sentences?” Danny gave them a broad grin.
“Well, let’s say I’ve learned from the best,” Harry retorted and raised his bottle as if to toast him.
“Touché!” Danny said and winked at Harry.Series

Summary
In my version of 9x15 Danny is with the team while Rachel and Charlie stay in his house overnight. Timeframe: the night after "El Diablo" is finally put behind bars. Danny takes care of Steve who's dealing with the aftermath of the brutal fight in the office which doesn't keep him from asking his friend about the current status of his relationship with Rachel...
Steve’s eyes were closed, and his long lashes bore some distraction for Danny but only for a heartbeat. He gently shook him. “Hey, Steve. You okay? You sure you don’t want me to drive you to the hospital?”

Summary
This plot differs from what we saw on the screen. Danny will have a bigger part in all this, it is the main reason I wrote this coda for episode 10.07. I needed a bigger chunk of McDanno, more than just the scene in the ending. Sorry, my muse demands, what my muse demands.
Man, had he been livid when Steve had told the team the only way to get his mother out of Mexico was to fly solo during an undercover op. And Steve had been upset with Danny for leaving the hospital on his own accounts. Just a few days after he'd been clipped in the left leg in a massive shoot out during a bank robbery. Little did Danny care. Stuff that involved Doris always meant trouble. In his imagination, he'd seen a girl circling a boxing ring holding up a sign saying "TROUBLE" while the audience went wild. Only this time, he hadn't had enough imagination. Doris had cornered herself so badly during this undercover op that they would've needed Scotty to beam her up.Series

Summary
Like many of us, I was mad how Steve's departure was written and also about the reasons why he left. I wouldn't call my story a fix it, more a sequel to the series finale. Except in my version, there is no CR involved. This and some changes in general lead to the canon divergence. I am going to offer you a different point of view on why Steve left and why he stayed away for one and a half years. When Steve returns, he returns to Jersey because, during his absence, a lot of things have changed. Mainly in Danny's life but also in Steve's. This story deals with the aftermath of the finale (which is also slightly different from the OV). Enjoy the ride. There will be a lot to digest.
