Then again, the main fic wasn’t supposed to be such an enormous monster of mutual pining, frustration, and characters making incredibly questionable life choices, so maybe I should have expected this.

Unfortunately, I got interested in a lot of the pieces of But boys spring infernal that had nothing to do with the main story or would’ve been too awkward to shove in with everything else that’s going on already in the main fic. But I wanted to write about these things anyway, so here we are.
