Summary
Jenny stared. If she’d been holding anything at all, she might have dropped it in shock. Here she’d been looking for an Orb of Thesulah online, hitting up all the shops her uncle had mentioned might be useful in this situation, doing research on how she might be able to make one if it came to that, and Rupert, her absent-minded librarian, had been using it as a paperweight.
(An alternate version of Passion. Considerably happier.)

Summary
“Rupert, what’s the ideal situation for you?” Jenny asked, crossing her arms and giving him her best inquisitive look. “That I just stay at home? Watch TV while the guy I love is throwing himself into life-threatening situations? Do you think you would ever be able to sit still and do nothing if you knew that you could do something to stop me from getting hurt?”

Summary
The tiny window near Giles’s front door was lit up, and Buffy could hear faint strains of music from the apartment. She felt a sudden clench in her throat, because she couldn’t remember ever coming to Giles’s place and having it seem so warm and inviting; usually it just felt like an extension of Giles’s office. So much had changed over the summer. Everyone seemed able to hold their own without her.

Summary
“Cool,” said Faith. “So you’re a witch?”
“Technopagan is the term,” said Ms. Calendar, and shared a smile with Giles, as though they were sharing some kind of joke that Faith wasn’t in on. Judging by the looks on the other faces in the room, though, no one else was either, so that made Faith feel a little better. “I’m mostly good at practical magic.”
“Love that movie,” Faith quipped. Ms. Calendar gave her a newly appreciative look.(s3 au. Jenny and Faith hit it off.)

“See her, Jenny? Learn from Willow’s example. That is how you behave properly and maturely on Valentine’s Day.”
“You and your holiday obsessions,” said Jenny, leaning in to kiss Rupert.
(In which absolutely everyone gets the happy Valentine's Day they deserve.)

Summary
They’d agreed, beforehand, to walk down the aisle together. Thankfully, he had enough presence of mind to extend his arm to her, and when she tucked her small, elegant hand into the crook of his elbow, it felt right.
(Giles and Jenny tie the knot.)
