  Summary

  For the longest time after the arrival of the last survivor in the Constant, it seemed that none more would be seen. But that would change when a hot air balloon crashes into the Wilderness, carrying a desperate escapee of the Plateau as its sole passenger. Now, a humble, frail man with an inability to speak and an eccentric motormouth historian find themselves oddly drawn to each other's presence.
