Iida Tenya balanced a bag of groceries in one arm, unlocking his door with the other, when a child’s shriek of laughter echoed down the hall. He turned, instinctively straightening his posture as his eyes landed on the young girl sprinting around the corner, her small figure almost crashing into him.
