Summary
It all starts at the end of September, right at the tail end of a severe storm. Vegas is fucking her for the thirteenth time—Pete’s keeping count—and this time, it’s different. For one thing, Vegas has talked Pete into staying in her office instead of going somewhere else, which is such a bad idea that Pete is actively trying not to freak out about it, and for another, Vegas hasn’t made Pete come once today. This is bizarre, because Pete normally has to beg her to stop by the end.

Honestly, Pete has stepped out of Vegas’s wildest fantasies. Beautiful, accomplished woman bad at taking care of herself, who wants to get tied up and whipped and fucked hard? Funny? Into being a pet? Puts up with when Vegas is forgetful or does stupid shit?
Pete could really need her, need Vegas to run her life a bit, need her in a way where she’d never leave because she relies on Vegas too much. Every time they get closer to that reality, Vegas’s feels a cool sense of relief, like something inside her is melting.
