This would normally be a great thing, except for the fact that his lie detecting abilities are characterized by a sharp pain in his stomach, which has festered in him a deep hatred for all humans everywhere. One day, he meets a boy who can only tell the truth.
I had a thought, dear (WIP): Thomas Soot grew up in the lap of luxury, silver spoon in his mouth before he knew what either of those things were. His life falls apart when he finds out that his family, and everyone he has ever known are Villains. In a perfect position to change things, he becomes a hero instead.
