Summary
Don’t call B’intana small and definitely don't call her a child. She might be pint-sized but she packs a punch.
“I don’t know how you win on the bloodsands when you fight like this on the street.”
B’intana stiffened. “I don’t know what you mean.”
“Well, unless I’ve kidnapped the wrong person, you’re B’intana Jinh, also known as the Behemoth of the Bloodsands and believe me the irony of that is not lost on me.”
“If you call me tiny…”
“I have no intention of insulting you. I have to sleep some time and you seem like the sort who carries a grudge.”

Summary
B'intana's got a secret identity as the Behemoth of the Bloodsands. She's also got a chip on her shoulder the size of Othard. When a new roegadyn shows up to take all comers, of course she's got to get in the queue.
"Yield." The word came from about fifteen stories over her head and rattled her skull like a thunderclap.
"The hells I will." B'intana pushed herself slowly to her knees, spit out blood and a tooth. "My momma didn't raise a quitter; she raised a menace."

Summary
B'intana is impulsive, this should come as no surprise to anyone, which means that her getting a full-back tattoo in one sitting should also come as no surprise to anyone. What she wasn't impulsive about was the purpose of the tattoo: to embed additional protection magics into her body so maybe her brother B'alith will have less reason to worry about her standing between him and something fifteen times his size.

Summary
B’intana returns to camp with some small game to add to the moogle's dinner stew and is startled that no one's pitched the tents. It turns out that this is because there aren’t any tents.
"Let's go get some more firewood," Ysayle said gently, and though she had pitched her voice low and kept herself close enough to B'intana that long hair tickled against B'intana's neck, Alphinaud somehow heard.
The young elezen looked at the pile of wood that sat on the ground between him and Estinien. "I can help," Alphinaud said, "If you truly think we need more."
B'intana and Ysayle both looked at him with raised eyebrows and wide eyes. A flush warmed B'intana's cheeks.
Estinien breathed a soft, "Ah," as if he suddenly realized just what it was that was irritating B'intana. "I think they're quite capable of finding firewood without your aid, boy."
B'alith looked like he'd swallowed a frog--or perhaps like he wished he had so he'd not have to have any of the indelicate conversations he also just realized might be necessary--

Summary
The dangers of drowning in the bath feel like nothing in comparison to the dangers of Y'shtola calling B'intana out for hiding something from her brother.
Into the silence, Y'shtola said, "You haven't told him yet, have you." The words danced between question and statement.
"Hmmm?" B'intana tried to pretend she had no idea what Y'shtola was talking about.

Summary
Sometimes those who've departed can make their presense felt in the Aetherial Sea, and there is one person there that B'intana very much wants to see again.
"Moonie!" She didn't know if she actually spoke, but as if the Echo had heard her and realized what it had done, it let go; the vision fell away, left her head aching and her muscles shot through with adrenaline, her fists clenched and her cheeks wet with tears.
"B'intana?" Krile's voice came calm and soothing from nearby, the concern in it welcome and infuriating all at once.
"I'm fine." B'intana pushed herself back to her feet and before anyone could figure out what she was doing--before anyone could *stop her*--she sprang toward the entrance to the aetherial sea, flung herself after her brother and the Scions, flung herself toward Moenbryda.

Summary
B'intana is a little bit feral over the possibility of losing her brother when he finally appears on the Ragnarok and so Thancred does his best to keep her from being under-foot, which, given B'intana's state of mind pretty much means sitting on her.
B'intana hovered, fretting, never more than an arm's reach from her brother, her hands trembling each time she reached out to him then pulled back. Her tail twitched, the tip of it curling erratically back and forth with the kind of intensity Thancred had only seen leading up to a battle. That girl would probably step up to the Traders to make them back down from the bargaining table before she'd let them take B'alith.

Summary
Sometimes after a fight, B'intana still has energy to burn. After fighting Honey B in the Arcadion, she's looking for something more than sparring.
She was hungry and had energy to burn.
She continued walking, eschewing the Arcadion's contestants' and winners' locker rooms for Black Cat's gym, where there were fewer people waiting around to either congratulate or how dare her.
How dare. It was so easy to dare. The Arcadion was in that way exactly like the bloodsands, the whole thing was nothing but dare. And she was--as she'd become utterly used to--so much smaller than the competition, especially once they feral-souled up, that if she didn't dare, she'd get squashed like a squape.
B'intana found her fingers curling and splaying at her sides as she walked down the street toward the gym, like she was kneading the air, or fighting it.
