Summary
After the heist, tension simmers on Coruscant as Vel and Luthen deal with the fall-out. Syril gets a new job. Mon needs to take the biggest risk of her life. Dedra tastes delicious victory. Cassian takes his leave of Ferrix and ends up regretting just about everything.
After multiple rewatches of the series, this episode is possibly my favourite. In honour of the exquisite writing, each drabble includes a quote from Stephen Schiff's magnificent script.
I wish I could include the Niamos music too.

Summary
Cassian enters the horror of Narkina 5 as the Empire brings its harsh new legislation into effect. Vel and Cinta face up to uncomfortable truths while Syril sees hope again. Events from the past haunt Maarva, Bix and the Paak family on Ferrix as they face horrors of their own. Saw meets Luthen and we see how difficult uniting these Rebels is going to be.

The horror of life in Narkina and the eventual confirmation that no-one is getting out is mirrored by horrors outside: Bix is tortured, Dedra shows her true colours and Mon realises the full danger she is in. Vel feels similarly trapped by the weight of sacrifice. Eedy and Syril find hope again, and the newfound presence of this in Cassian too is what slightly lightens this bleakest of episodes.

Summary
This is it. The Narkina 5 Prison Break.
'One Way Out' exactly describes the situation for all of the characters in this episode. That, or the realisation that there’s no way out. Cassian's resolve is strong but there are plenty of doubts and fears to overcome as the moment of truth approaches. Mon realises the true cost of what she will have to do. Lonni and Luthen have a face to face meeting but it's clear who is in control.
Sacrifice of all kinds is the main theme of this episode. I'm not foolish enough to pay direct homage to the two great monologues, but I hope you enjoy the alternative perspectives on them.

Summary
Communication, cruelty and compassion are the main themes in this episode, featuring the sad bookends of Bee and Cassian faced with Maarva's death. The kindness of strangers contrasts with the horrific sadism of the Empire, and the terrible choice Mon has decided she has to make. Luthen confronts Saw and then has a close call with the Empire, highlighting how vulnerable this all is. Meanwhile there is hope in the form of Melshi's newfound faith in Cassian and himself.

As everyone converges on Ferrix, the fuse is lit that will spark all-out rebellions... in the people of Ferrix and in the individuals who have known the pain and oppression of the Empire. Cassian seeks hope and purpose from Nemik's manifesto before proving how far he has come from the man we met back in Ep 1. Mon and Vel make further realisations about the true personal costs of the struggle. Syril finds an unexpected opportunity to prove his worth.
